In these versions on the GameCube and Xbox, you can flick around the right stick if you're playing in EO mode to use special moves instead of QCF

Which is why I think they made the GC-ISM for it (Xbox version it's called EO-ISM)

Its just some controllers are a bit more comfortable then others! XD either way i have no favorites, all consoles are cool in their own special way.

As a relative newbie to the game, how is it that they keep cancelling their supers midway through while using C-gauge? Any super they perform that involves a physical combo seems to just get cancelled halfway through for them to continue a basic combo into another super.

Is this only doable in C-gauge?

@note4note you probably got the anwser but here it is anyway, with the C-gauge you can perform a lvl 2 super and then, in some point (depending of the character) you can continue the combo with a regular a attack and/or throw a lvl 1 super. You need the 3 bars to do this; you can only cancel to minor super, this means that you can't do a level 1 super and then make another one, it always will be from level 2 to 1, no 1 to 1

@Angel0fDarkness78 The quality of this game is good, but the GameCube controller is really poor for a 6-button style fighter such as this. It does offer a unique control option with its GC-ism, but that's even harder to use than the standard method. I recommend Soul Calibur 2 instead. For a system that does NOT work with fighters, Namco did a good job of making that one effective.

Still, if able to get this and you can only access GameCube, you should have fun with it.

well originally the japanese names for these characters were as follows=

Vega (Master)

Balrog (Claw)

M.Bison (Boxer)

Gouki (Master of Fist)

They were switched around in the U.S and U.K only because Mike Bison was TOO similar to Mike Tyson (Famous Boxer)

Gouki was changed to Akuma for no reason. (At least I don't think)

Well I know they usually do Versus so they can do these combos but why does Roldo or whatever his name always do that first attack thing? None of them are using K groove... but yeah these guys must have some specialized controllers to be able to do shouryukens and other similar attacks in such a great sequence.
