  • This level is supposed to be in the PSP version of SOTN. The one that is hidden in Dracula X Chronicles. Download a save from gamefaqs if you can't stand the normal game long enough to unlock it.

  • men, qhere can I download this game! i like castlevania SotN and I want to play this in mi pc ^^

  • @Alexis2099 Google sega saturn isos but the problem isn't finding the game its the emulators. You need a decent machine to play games at full speed although SOTN shouldn't be too bad. You'll want to try out SSF as its currently the best emulator out there.

  • What is the boss in this area?

@ELECTRO9999ICE : You can become immune to water, but you have to find a relic called Holy Symbol.

  • @pacjentPS Just found it cause I was wondering too! The boss is called the Skeleton King.

  • how it the hell do u open that door to the garden do

u have to do it in the beggining

  • I still think that PSN should import this to US or it should be ported with the stuff that the US didn't have as well as a hard mode. I wanted this game to be so much harder than it actually was.

  • Watch out for the illegal aliens!

  • i have this game on a disc called konami classics vol.1 are these levels avaliable from the start or is there a special dlc or what cause they look really fun please post your response on my channel

  • com/user/cubex55com/user/cubex55com/user/cubex55com/user/cubex55com/user/cubex55

  • he runs way faster in this one

  • 1:13 if you fall in the water .You die?

  • @ELECTRO9999ICE No. You take damage like with the other water areas

  • The Japanese did something big too in terms of Resident Evil. Capcom released Director's Cut of RE1 in Japan with extra content, but due to some BS, it made it to the U.S. without that content. But they sold it and advertised it, which was shady.

  • you just keep stepping on the unes..

  • did they include everything beside other than amria in the psp version, I know they retranslated it as well.

  • Isn't this the saturn version?

  • @SuperTito22

    Did you read the description?

  • what is your Equipment?

  • Saturn had more content. PS removed both this Garden and the Cursed Prison in addition to Maria and Richter playable from start, a-long with their remixed tunes.

  • Heyy schraffser i saw a movement in the part of the game when alucard walk more faster how you do this movement and is possible to do this movement in the psx version

  • Is the tree saying "T & A"?

  • Nice I like the vampire killer remix.

  • This´ the best version of SONT!

  • is this on the psp version??

  • Of course the Gooks get all the cool shit

  • @chaoslegend123 Haha, WTF?

  • This area is in the new PSP version¿?

  • @nogardzero No This one is the Lost level of the SOTN PS2 exclusively in Japanese Sega Saturn Version of the game

  • I wish this was in the PSP version.

  • konami is bitch!!! why they dont do this fot the SOTN of ps1!!!!!!

  • theres a lost level cool

  • dam reading the description...this one sounds better and what was that weapon holy hell was that sword moving O_o

  • @ebiry The sword is called Crissaegrim. You can get it from the Schmoo in the Inverted Library. Be ready to grind, though, it usually takes a while for one to drop it. Try equipping all the Alucart equipment if you're having trouble; you'll get a big Luck boost for wearing it all at once.

  • i wish they would make another 2d castlevania game for the ps3

  • I wish the PSP version had all of the Japanese Saturn version's stuff included =/

  • What the hell is this sonic? haha

  • That last room you are in at the end of the video, what was in there? It's too small for a boss. Was there an item or exclusive (to Saturn) relic?

  • @OracleThunder

There was a boss, very weak boss.

  • thanks for show us how is that version of the game, in saturn.

  • Info

This level is only on Sega Saturn version relased 1998 Japanese only. PSX version relased 1997. Thank you for upload:)

  • Whoa! They got Pokemon in this game?! Those white things coming from the water look like Dewgongs O_O Castlevania's waay better than Pokemon though :p That's right, Alucard, slice those Poke-nuisances up!

  • lost level ba ay ps1

  • this is only availible for the segasatrin(not enven for the versions that we have today like the psp,360, or the ps3) you can even play as Maria!

  • Comment removed

  • 1:59 Bobby of Clock tower :S

  • And the PSP version pwns all.

  • I just got this game about 6 months ago and all I can say is '' where have you been all my life''

  • That's just stupid. You buy game on PSX you have not all the feature. In Sega Saturn we have one more room like in video and next playable character - Maria (and maybe more). Actually in PSX version this tunnel to this unique room is exist but after entering the door theres only a glitchy save room

  • @DarkPatro56

Dude, the PS version came out before this, these extra things were added later to the Saturn port.

  • I'm current'y working on a video about the saturn version of SOTN,it would be a sick view for sure.

  • one of my all time favs right here, never gets boring, always something to find, fliping the level ect. they should have made a version for they ps3 like they did with god of war

  • I bought this for the Saturn thankfully if you have a Game Shark Cart for it you can play it on the American system. I like this version fairly well but the extra stages are mad hard! But I will admit the music is cool but doesn't fit. The rest of the music is Symphony Style. This is pop techno who knows. But still, This is the best version. I think.

  • @SUPERMEEEEEE

Hmm,the Underground Garden has one in the deep side.

  • @redwolffire

    SSF emulator ftw

  • @jbelmont

In PS1 and other versions beside Saturn, yes.

But you can save in the right-down side after you get into the Underground Garden.

  • what sword is that? ive never found it!

  • @Caseygarnerguitar Crissaegrim. to get it, go to the forbidden library (the library in the inverted castle) and kill the schmoo (its in the first hallway of the library, its a floating head thing) keep leaving the room and entering it again, killing it each time, just keep killing them, and eventually, its rare, but it will crop it. its the best sword in the game

  • Greatest game EVER!

  • Yes in the gardens plus a boss inside it the guardian sceleton! The strangest thing though is that the psp version has the new familiars plus the maria to play, but they didn't put the gardens. What asholes they are!

  • I completely would love this version of the game... we can dream, can't we?

  • i would like to see this on the psx american version

  • Go, Green Fairy! Sing me some "Nocturne"!!!

  • Man, this area looks really cool! Why couldn't this have been in the playstation version too?!

  • somebody has teh full soundtrack of this level ?

  • When alucard got poisoned near the end, it sounded like he said "What The FFFFF."

  • yea idk how i made it here on the ps1 wen i was younger

  • they need to make another castlevania like this!

  • @airbornecow1 they did, on the DS

  • @airbornecow1 not only DS, GBA too

  • what is significant about this area?

  • I don´t have Castlevania SOTN japanese sega saturn version =(

  • Saturn version is better.

  • its not just for the japanese sege saturn, its also accessible for the american playstation...

you have to be richter and at the beginning of the game, immediatly run right to get in...

if you do it perfectly, youll be inside the underground garden...

still trying tho because i failed 5 times either by going outside the castle or by getting glitched in the floor by dissinegration

  • Wait isn't this song one of the belmont's theme?

  • crissaegrim is best ever.

  • He's using crisigrim sword. (Am I right) lol

  • damn i should of have picked the japanese version it has additionals than the american VER.

  • have this stage in PSX japanese version?

  • is only japanese version?!?!

if is not, how you enter in this place?

  • What's the name of that sword

  • @themovieman247

    Crissagreim....i guess

  • Comment removed

  • @themovieman247

Yeap...a lot of them beacause the "Shmoo"...don`t give that sword so easy...(sorry for my english maybe im not so good but im trying to be...)

  • @ALUKARDLILO I got it! Ha!

Now I just need to figure sommin out, the game says I have 199.4 percent completed, but I can't find anywhere on the map that I've not been. Help?

  • WOW im gettign a saturn this is in my top 5 best game series ever made. And this happens to be my 2nd fav game ever made. Its to bad I could never to all the spells.

  • damn i want the sega saturn version so bad now

  • Castlevania SOTN is one of my alltime favorites. I cant wait for the new Castlevania Lords of Shadow on the PS3

  • @WakeUpDead2012 It's not a lot like Castlevania...played the demo, very GoW-ish.

  • @HinataChan30

Yeah i ended up buying it last week...im on chapter-3 right now. Its got great movie scenes and stuff but its definitely not a good castlevania in my opinion. I hate that you cant control the camera to.....but yeah it seem god of warish i guess lol

  • @WakeUpDead2012 the PSP version is great because you can unlock SotN and the original RoB in it. 3 Castlevania games for 1 is always a good deal.

  • @HinataChan30 So what you're saying is that it's exactly like Castlevania? The last few games in the series have been 3d action/rpg's just like GoW and DMC.

  • @WakeUpDead2012 actually, a lot of people say that its "the vista of castlevania".

  • @WakeUpDead2012 (i was tlkin about LOS not SOTN. SOTN rocks)

  • Where t f can I get the JAP SAGA VERSION, Please respond....

it has to be a place to get the CD on iso file, where can I download it, please!!!!!!!!!!

  • If you buy the game from eBay I hear the ISO is on a CD.

  • @esporyanXX try some private bittorrent trackers that specialize on games. or usenet

  • @esporyanXX

    Buy it.

  • 2:18 i think i saw this plant with poisen ivy

    in batman & robin snes

  • how come the America version does not have this in it

  • because these 2 areas "Undergroudn Garden" and "Cursed Prison" were useless! So they decided to remove it from the american/europe

  • I agree to a point. I mean i want them in really bad because it would have been two new areas but the monsters look hokey. Like the cursed prison flying ghost look like something from a cheesy 80;s cartoon. Here they have a talking tree and a gardner. Pretty lame. Reminds me of Wizard of oz. Still, would have been fun to play

  • Oh brother...come on folks, this is the Saturn version. That's why it has additional areas.

  • actually, those areas were added for the saturn release only. and since the saturn version was only released in japan, months after the PSX release...

  • in the psx version you can get underground in that same spot. but its just a glitched out save point.

  • Is this area available at PSP version?

  • no it doesnt

  • That remix kicks some ass too

  • what weapon are you using?

  • He's using the Crissaegrim, which drops off of Shmoos in the upside-down castle. Wear your Alucart gear and any other +LUK accessories, drink a luck pot, sit back and enjoy the grind.... it's worth it.

  • I managed to get one of these after killing only about 25-30 Schmoos, my LCK stat wasn't enhanced by anything just got lucky I guess lol... but yeah it makes the game real easy... almost TOO easy

  • actually it destroys the game a little its to uber xD

you can defeat dracula within 5 secs with this sword^^

  • @sheepextreme I got a Crissaegrim on the original PS version, near when the game first came out not knowing they drop it, on a random walk-by drop. I nearly came.

  • U know what's funny is the first time I played the game I got a LUCKY random Criss drop off one of the first shmoos i killed, and I didnt even use it because it had lower damage than what I was using. Ahhh, to be naive.

  • Crissaegrim. It's entirely too powerful and kinda ruins the game.

  • @Roan7995

or you could don't use it

  • @hateWinVista

Yeah, I could don't use it.

  • @robertxtm Crissaegrim, the Schmoos drop it in the Forbidden Library at the Inverted Castle.

  • I don't understand...

reserving areas for the versions of games that are hard to get, why would Japan do this to me?

  • i still think our version is better these extra stages are only like 10 mins long not really a big deal and all just my opinion

  • but is it in the USA one????

  • maybe difference in cd format? playstation vs saturn couldnt convert? or maybe this place just looked too drug incuded for younger platers? who knows...

  • I don't get it.

Y do they actually delete areas?

  • They didn't have time to finish those areas. The saturn version came out later so by then they had been able to finish it.

  • what? you mean from clock tower?

yeah it looks a little like him

  • Everybody Ask & Ask & ASK & ASK..

    ...

    That's Not A "Lost Level"..

That's An ADDED Level For The Saturn Version Of The Game..

You CAN'T Get There In The xBox/Psp/Psx Version Of The Game Because It DOES NOT Exist There..

You Can't Open That Small Door In The Ground Unless You Use Some Glitches..

That's All.. You Can Open It In The Saturn Version Only Via Normal In-Game Methods..

  • How did you make that secret little door open ?

  • Yeah, that's what I've always wanted to know! I mean, I know it's an unfinnished area in the original SOTN, but it's completely part of the game in this one!

  • this was on the sega saturn version

  • also they should have put a boss at the end =l

  • wow its playing the main music to the first ever castlevania game

  • seems like both were pointless areas where the other removed area at least connect to a place for quicker passage, this one nothing.

  • everybody asking for this game, it was sold in america and it was for the PS1. the game can be bought as a download on the Playstation Network. it is called Castlevania Symphony of the Night.

  • This area is accessable in the PS Version its just not incomplete

  • okey, so how do you open up so you can get down there??

  • where to get this game....im download saturn at pc but cannot play

  • m bueno, japones

  • this is version lagunge english...where u get???

  • i guess they don't have eng version you can get this game in ebay i saw it quite long ago.

  • Are you blind? The version isn't English. The enemy names are clearly Japanese. This is the Saturn version which was never released in the US.

  • no way! loading who cares!

bonus stage and + maria +

    sell ur 360 buy a ps3 :D

    2010 rules :D

  • Dracula X: Nocturne in the Moonlight

the jap name of this game on sega saturn, don't worry poor psx players, it's near the same game...

    last word to my part:

    saturn version > all :D

  • Wrong!

    360 version > all

Practicly no load times, better graphics, and the most important thing:

    10$.

  • noob, epsx+iso = free

  • Lol, not epsx+iso = the ps1 version, which is bad.

  • nella versione psx c'e solo un salvataggio

  • is this possible in the unlockable game on dracula x PSP ????

  • why deose the demon look diff in this version

  • I wish the PSX players had that level. :(

  • Omg it's the scissor man from clock tower!

  • Exactly what I was thinking!

  • Can any one tell me how to put that mask on the familiar demon?

  • Its a 2nd demon left out of the us version

  • that's the sword u get by killing the flying head in the library in the reversed castle.

  • is it posibly to go in this place on the psp version?

  • they can have all that new stuff... but they cant mpve the ''now loading'' screen 00:24

  • where u get that sword??

  • you get it on the inverted side of the libary and kill the enemy "Shmoo" and kee kiling it till you get the sword called the "Creesaegrim"(sorry if icant spell it right..

  • ¿the boss of this level?

  • ya i was wondering the same thing WHATs THE BOSS

  • It's called "Skeleton King".

  • There is an elaborate glitch to get to the big weird tall cave connection to the "underground garden"... but when you get to where the underground garden should be, it's just a crazy insane hidden save room.

    ._.

  • With the release of SotN on XBLA, it would have been cool if they released this version of the game instead of the American version. Guess I'll have to get a Japanese Saturn to play this.

  • Don't. It was actually shit compared to the playstation/psp version.

  • Another reason why Japan is cooler than us 3=

  • old school.... nice

  • Fucka shiit!!!???

  • 2:27 "What the..."

  • I have a question - is any of this stuff available on the Japanese PS1 version of SOTN? Because I have a modded Playstation, maybe I could get ahold of a copy of the game, if so...

  • none of this was in sotn pal or jpn for psx

  • Thanks - it actually worked out for me, I managed to get a Sega Saturn on ebay that plays both American and Japanese Saturn games, and also a copy of the Japanese Saturn version of SOTN. So it will be fun to play. :-)

  • wow, pretty committed! these levels look fun to explore, but honestly, they aren't nearly as good as any other area in sotn. they feel a bit rushed or not as touched... i also don't understand why the game would want two remixes of vampire killer.

i think maria alone would seal the deal on the purchase, but i view these levels as bonus -- not quite complete.

  • Ha ha, thanks. :-) I think I see what you mean, they look a little different, and I notice that at the end of the garden area, there's nowhere to go from there, as if the developers didn't want to finish that part of the game. I've played a little bit of the game, and some of the music at the beginning is different, too.

I'm also looking forward to the battle between Alucard and Maria, in the area where she gives Alucard the glasses - it was cut from the PS version, but looks fun. :-)

  • i hear that fight can be fairly difficult if you let it happen at more appropriate levels. i sadly over-explore and end up over-leved in sotn. :[ i just have to have those swords with unique powers!

i suppose someone could always take their armor off. what music is different in particular? i'm considering picking this up myself. did it have any bad loadtimes or resolution?

  • Oh wow, I'll have to watch for that - the fight between Alucard and Maria looked really hard as it is, and I can't imagine how much worse it would be to have it be harder to due your character having higher levels! Break out the Crissaegrim!

For some reason, the music at the very beginning is different, where Alucard starts in the castle. The load times are a little bit long, but don't happen in every screen, and aren't bad, say, compared to the original Resident Evil for the PS1. :-)

  • About the resolution, again, I think that was overstated by fans - it's a little bit grainy in areas, but not as bad as people make it out to be, and it and the load times don't really slow the game down in any way.

I've only played a little bit in the beginning so far, mainly to test it, but it was enough to see the di
