Monster Hunter; oh, okay I understand its very popular in Japan okay cool if it doesn't get released outside Japan, I will just import it again. What's that? Only releasing on the 3DS which is region locked. So that means if I want to play it I need to buy a japanese 3DS even though I've wasted $250 on the US ver. launch day.

honestly after I got super street fighter 4 for the PS3, I had no intention of getting a 3DS. Megaman Legends 3 got my attention but we all know how that went.
It's almost like Capcom wants to fail.... putting out a cheaper version of thier existing games later is a bad buisiness model. Personally, I won't get StreetFighter X Tekken because I'll be able to get it for ~$30.00 after they predictably re-release it with more crap.

MegaMan started to lose its edge and significance during the 32-bit era; thus, sales were down. It's that simple. Sonic, Metroid, Kirby among others also suffered the same fate. Games like Ratchet & Clank, Jak and Dexter, Halo (a copy of Metroid), etc eventually took their place. If only Capcom did a really good game with Mega Man but simply exploiting its name to spend time producing dumb stuff like Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom, that can only go so long.

Really, I was devastated when I found out they cancelled this game. I was seeriously considering buying a 3DS just to play this game and now they've stolen that incentive. I really wish there was a way for fans to communicate DIRECTLY to companies like these because letdowns like this should be a crime (maybe even a sin) and fans should have more control over this sort of thing. Square's current failures are one thing, but Capcom's betrayal is unacceptable. I think I'll boycott Capcom now.

By the way, I'm sure you've already heard about this, but another awesome series (in my opinion) has gone down the tubes. Ace Attorney. The execs at Capcom got it into their heads not to translate Ace Attorney Investigations 2. It seems, however, that Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney *might* get translated for release outside of Japan. I thought they stopped keeping games to themselves back in the 90's.

Kenji Inafune was the only reason why Megaman games sold in my estimation, so Capcom made them games. honestly after I got super street fighter 4 for the PS3, I had no intention of getting a 3DS. Megaman Legends 3 got my attention but we all know how that went.
It's almost like Capcom wants to fail.... putting out a cheaper version of thier existing games later is a bad buisiness model. Personally, I won't get StreetFighter X Tekken because I'll be able to get it for ~$30.00 after they predictably re-release it with more crap.
We can just call UMvC3 MvC4 now. Capcom is THE Trollmaster.

MegaMan started to lose its edge and significance during the 32-bit era; thus, sales were down. It's that simple. Sonic, Metroid, Kirby among others also suffered the same fate. Games like Ratchet & Clank, Jak and Dexter, Halo (a copy of Metroid), etc eventually took their place. If only Capcom did a really good game with Mega Man but simply exploiting its name to spend time producing dumb stuff like Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom, that can only go so long.

Really, I was devastated when I found out they cancelled this game. I was seeriously considering buying a 3DS just to play this game and now they've stolen that incentive. I really wish there was a way for fans to communicate DIRECTLY to companies like these because letdowns like this should be a crime (maybe even a sin) and fans should have more control over this sort of thing. By the way, I'm sure you've already heard about this, but another awesome series (in my opinion) has gone down the tubes. Ace Attorney. The execs at Capcom got it into their heads not to translate Ace Attorney Investigations 2. It seems, however, that Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney *might* get translated for release outside of Japan. I thought they stopped keeping games to themselves back in the 90's.

@Yomigami I guess making us Megamanatics happy in the first place. But I do happen to really believe they've never wanted a Megaman game out. Kenji Inafune was the only reason why Megaman games sold in my estimation, so Capcom made them games. But as soon inafune quits, Capcom now destroys Megaman from within like they've had probably planned for years.
I mean think about it, It's not like Capcom wanted Megaman in the first place. There's gotta be that reason of sort, I'm telling you it's hate.

I read in the latest issue of gameinformer that Keiji Inafune intended to work on MML3 (via his own company, Comcept) after all this BS happened. Capcom slammed the proverbial mid finger door on that one so that sucks. As hateful as this is, I "practically" pronounced megaman DEAD. sorry to all the fans (myself included).
