My Father and his friends were on a peace keeping mission in Lebanon with the Irish army. He said they let civilians hide in their bomb shelter when bombs were raining down on them. He said he loved the Lebanese people, they always were inviting to him.

I will go to Lebanon. I want to meet the people and see the country. I want to go to Baalbek. In 2006 I was at a exhibition in Dublin castle about Lebanon and how it was rebuilt, that's when my brother and I said we would go. The very next day the 2006 war started. I kept up with the war every second, as I did with the Gaza war. I feel nothing but pain for what happens at the hands of the Israelis. The world knows who the criminals and victims are. our leaders pretend we don't.

I always have wanted to visit Lebanon. For cultural and historic reasons. I'd love to see Baalbek (If that's spelled right) I don't think I could ever grasp the full scale politics of Lebanon. But what a people ! To live through all of that war and still stand proud. I found it interesting in the worlds recent economic problems, that Lebanon was one of three countries to actually have a higher income instead of losing money. Brilliant. If i come to Lebanon I know I would love it.
