  • @spirosalamanos so? i mean im garbageman for 7,5 years now, and dont mind if i have to walk, paper, plkastic bottles or whatever.. were MUST ware safteshoes and reflectionclothes!! its all have to do with youre own safty... specialy because youre at the street

  • @mrRMV1 Then you must know better.I was just sayin'. ;-)

  • man u are so lucky i have trucks here that wouldn't allow glass bottles as recycling

  • Where I work, our recycling lads would get SHOT for wearing shorts when dealing with glass, even in the summer lol

  • how many times a month get the bins empty ?

  • In Waverley the garbage is weekly and the greens + recycling bins are serviced fortnightly.

  • @MitchellM15 is fortnightly mean nightly?

  • @stormspotters Every two weeks mate...

  • GREAT

  • hey Mitchell. great video as always.

you hold the camera really steady, how do you follow the truck? walking, or do you drive on a bike? I ask because the garbage guys seem to be running all the time (pretty fit they are). I imagine if I would have to run after the track, not only would I gasp for air, but I couldn't handle the cam properly with all the running.

  • Thanks mate.

Depends which truck I'm following... if it's a FL or a RL on commercial route, then I use my bike if it's available. Otherwise with residential or in cases where I don't have a bike... it's by running as hard and as fast as I can =] 90% of the time it's on foot though... I've suddenly become more fit than what I was a while ago! lol

  • Hey Mitch! Just realized I missed this one..sorry! Was he talking about your new camcorder? This one has the more European-style lifter, right? Looks like the bin stopper bar wouldn't work with anything bigger than a 240L...? Seems like it'd keep the lid(s) from opening based on its placement...Great vid, 5 stars!!

  • 1) Yes he was talking about my new piece of machinery.

    2) The lifter's the same as the Formula 4000 ones (if you see the Manly trucks)

    3) You're correct about the bin stopper, I saw them dump a couple of 240L's and it does get in the way.

    4) Thanks again! :D

  • Yeah guess that's true. I must've been contrasting with the JP5 style vertical cylinder design.

  • He rejected a bin.

  • doesnt seem to tip the bins very much? get the job done i guess lol

3 bins = more productive lol

  • how the heck did they get three bins up on the lifter ? gr8t footge mate 10/10

  • there ninjas lol

  • ha ha ha

  • nice job. greens looked like the funnest route out of the three! 5 stars

  • nice. love the sound
