i absoluely LOOOOOVEEE shorts! theyre awesoooomeee!!!!!! :D i had this jeans that i cut off so that they could be shorts and my mom thew them away cuz she said that they are horrible and that they look bad on me and that those werent even shorts and that that wasnt fashion i was really sad :'( i really loved those shorts and i had lived lots of good moments with them :'(

with my high waisted shorts i like to wear them with baggy shirts and i let it be untucked a little more in the back then it is in front so my butt doesnt look so long and your legs look long from the front

honestly i don't consider these high waisted shorts. They seem to be directly at your waist, a look that I find much more flattering to most girls who do not have stick shaped bodies. I can't stand low rise pants that show underwear and buttcracks and such. I didnt know these pants were considered high waisted because all of my high waisted pants come to a little above my belly button and i have very high hips so i know it isn't just my body.

If your not sure about this trend but you just want to try it out, I suggest going to your local thrift store :) I wasnt sure either, so I went to Goodwill and found a pair of denim ones, & they have a large selection of them! Other cool thing about the thrift store ones is that they may actually be real vintage pieces that are really unique and it'd be rare that anyway else would have the exact same pair, you know? I got my first pair of high waisted shorts (in SUPER condition) for $3.99 :)

@bkaur95, I thought of it this way. The longer the shorts, the more fossil fuels gets burned just to make them all. Nothing wrong with longer shorts though I'd prefer it to be made out of hemp instead of cotton for all seasons. I was thinking about tights and shorts for both guys and gals, long story there.

i thik high-waisted shorts dont have to be belly button and over besides, ones that are just under the belly button are really stylish lately! And if you are short then high-waisted sorts are really useful! they make your legs look longer!
