I listened to EVERY cover of this tune, on YouTube. KR's is by far, the best. The others twist and bend it to fit themselves, comprimising it so much that it gets too far away from Bill's original. As a musician, I can relate to covers being borderline offensive to the original artist. It's called piracy. Kenny's back up vocals,band, and string sect. give this cover the shape and definition it deserves.

It is on Kenny's 1999 Dreamcatcher album called "After Dark" or sometimes called "All the Hits & All New Love Songs: After Dark"

It may be easier to find the CD as part of a collection called "Forever Kenny Rogers" - a tin box with 3 CDs that was released 2006

Which includes CDs "Ten Years of Gold" (from 1977) and "Kenny Rogers & Friends" (a collection of duets)

WELL WORTH GETTING THIS 3 CD Collection
