  • The Empire started to dramatically decline after the death of Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir because of weak rulers who started to divide the empire into small city states for their own gain.

  • @MughaleAzam87

It began under Aurangzeb, because he had all of those corrupt Nawabs to rule the distant parts of the Empire. It was the action of a corrupt Nawab that started the Pashtun insurgency.

  • I hate the East Indian company too

  • Allah Hu Akbar

  • @Moebab Mughal empire is dead my friend. Only think that is close to the Mughals are the rajputs in India who gave birth to most of the emperors.

  • @JacobTheIndoAmerican Friend Rajput accepted Mughal supremacy. They are no more close to Mughals. To save themselves from Mughals they gave their daughters. Later Rajput became slaves to British.

  • This message is to PANGACONSULTANT - truely u have done a nice thing, read out Fatiha, but i wud like to tell u that there are various mistakes (typing mistakes probably), forexample, in the final ayat it is GHAIRIL.....NOT GHAIRIS and similar errors.. It is best if u rectify it by comparing it from THE HOLY QURAN, or you have another option of removing your message completely, if you are incapable of comparing it.

  • Thanks Soomro Sahib for the upload and sharing. Its a fit of nostalgia when I listen to the commentry in Sindhi Language. Thanks again.

  • man i visited this place 3 yrs ago!!!

  • The attitudes that exist in India today against the Mughals have never been always so.Infact Bahadur Shah Zafar was acknowledged by both Hindus and Muslims;at the time of the uprising as the sovereign of Hindustan, and for which he did sacrifice also.Based solely upon this fact he deserves respect from all the consituents of the then Hindustan: India,Pakistan &Bangladesh. These nations missed a great opportunity by ignoring a common chapter in their history in missing the 150th anniversary of 1857

  • zsam, you are right about this. Bahadur Shaha did sacrfice his own well-being for which he paid a dear price.

I've been meaning to pick up the Dalyrimple's book about Bahadur Shah...

  • @suryavajra Can you tell me the name of the book by Dalyrimple on Bahadur Shah?

  • @786swe

I believe it's called "The Last Mughal"

  • @suryavajra Thanks for the info.

  • Respect also to Maulana Fazl-e-Haq Khairabadi, who died as a true warrior patriot to the cause....

  • The failure of the uprising in 1857 denied India an alternate future, where it may have avoided the internal bickerings of 20th century sub-cont politics,by building upon the shared struggle against foreign yoke.I remember the Discovery of India program, years ago where Nehru lookalike and speaking for him(based on his book of same name) said that the next natural step would have been the setting up of industries and development like what Japan did at the same time. But alas it was not to be!

  • @zsam22 Japan stated imitating the West long before the 19th century.

  • @zsam22 - You said it right. We do not need to fight but to find one common thread to accept each other. Don't bring religion in the mix and all things will work out.

We still have some people on both sides that do not want friendship between the Muslims & Hindus but majority of the people do and those people need to stand up and openly declare that people of India, Pakistan & Bangla Desh have a common thread. We still have time to accept the truth and offer each other the respect each deserve.

  • what language is this?

  • its the panjabi language

  • thanks for the reply but it is not Punjabi. It is some form of dialect.

  • I think it's burmese.. which is kinda weird mix of Hindi, sanskrit, chinese and english languages... One of the guy in the video is speaking Hindi though with some urdu words..

  • it's sindhi mere bhai!!

  • It is not Burmese. BTW, though Burmese alphabet is from ancient Brahmi script, the language belongs to Tibeto-Burman language group.

  • I'm a Hindu. But respect to Bahadur Shah. The last of the great Mughal rulers.

  • There has to be one more Dynasty of Hindu Emperors in India.

  • You mean in the future?? Me thinks that India has to move past this old antiquated idea of dynasties and stuff and move towards greater democracy and economic development....

  • Thankyou KTN for this video.

  • sorry we Mughals r not an indian & we did`nt look like an indian Afganistan & central asia & iran this is the Homeland of mughals & the orginally home land of mughal r mouglistan which is located in central asia india indian name is just like shame sorry but we r not indians// mughals r all around the world in Europe & Asia every were in Europe tatar this is the mughal branch the lived there we r Muslium Mughals not an Hindu or AN INDIAN

  • HaroonMogul , You missed the point in referring to Mughals as Indians. Aside from the first two Mughal rulers, the moghals born in Indian were the sons and daughters of India. You are making it look like the all Mughal rulers ruled their empire as foreign tyrants. That was not so.

  • @HaroonMogul As time went by, the Moguls in India mixed with Indians. Why else would Bahadur Shah not have the Mongol face like Genghis Khan?

  • indians moan about division of india into pakistan , but they never realise that bangladesh was divided too ,,

  • terrorism was in 1857! read your archives about the insurgeny? british history that's the words they use when it came for their own interests.

  • I think some people here need to basically grow up or at least not get trapped and defined by history. WE are another generation and have a chance to make things better. Such ignorant rhetoric only breeds hatred and enmity amonst a people who are essentially the mirror of each other. Come on guys. Both Indians and Muslims should know better. As human beings we should know even more.

  • long live our king!may allah's blessing be on him. he fought till his last breath against the british. bahadur shah, (if the sepoys keep their faith and will, one day they will shake the foundation's of london} ahamdullila we did!7/7

  • @stepper444 I don't think that Bahadur Shah fought the British o wanted to but he was put in a difficult situation being selected to represent all of India though his power at the time was limited to, from what I read, the Delhi area. Funny that how different Maharajas of many Indian states invited the British in vying for power and only when they realized that they were in deep trouble, they went running to Bahadur Shah. Too late by then.

  • Ayaz Gul thank you so much for the video.

  • i was talking to column658 when i said thats not true.

  • All comments posted in this video so far no good.

  • The Mughals were great and Just people. Bahadur Shah Zafar is truly a great person!

    Allahu Akbar!

South Asia would be no where without Muslims or Islam... Islam saved the world from Ignorance!

  • are u nuts have u read what Aurangzeb did even to Muslims ??

  • Aurangzeb was a great leader, what are you talking about? Your just too ignorant to understand, the world would be no where without Islam! Quit making such LIES up!

  • Yes. Mughals were great & just people.

Mughals would be no where without Indian Subcontinent. Mongols have destroyed everything in china, central asia & afghan territories till turkey.

India gave Mughals there everlasting home which they can call it theirs & thus become Indians.

    Allau Akbar! Hindustan Zindabad.

  • mnkhan2020 , it is ignorance that makes you say that Mughals destroyed what their ancesters non Muslims Mongols did. Shame on you!

  • @mnkhan2020 Guru Gobind's Singh Ji's Khalsa Brought Mughal empire to its knees and destroyed it and it will never rise again Khalsa Rules!!!

  • @pskillaraplord Brother most of your gurus were executed by Mughals in broad day light including guru gobind singh. So who brought to knees to whom.

  • @iamkhk111 you make me lough brother just answer my one question where are mughuls now and there werent a single son of a mother born who could even thouch guru gobind singh ji so where are mughals now i dont see them all i see is guru gobind singh ji's khalsa so yeah bye bye.

  • @pskillaraplord Your Khalsa means Khalistan was wiped in one night stand during Operation Blue Star by Mrs Indira Gandh and don't say that you killed Indira Gandhi which will make me laugh coz it was her greatness that she retained the sikh security gard who turned to be traitor of the nation.

  • @iamkhk111 @iamkhk111 here u little boy watch this and find out what Khalsa did on 1984 June 4 to Indian army

    y o u t u b e . com / w a t c h ? v = 0 H D D W q U 7 H k Q &

  • @punjabidako I am not interested in fake animated movie, but I appreciate the movie made by a Punjabi.

  • @iamkhk111 yeah cuz u cant face the truth u lil kitten

  • @iamkhk111 look at this lady asking for forgiveness what you have to say about this huh??? youtube.com/watch?v=cmEdFrfpeFs&feature=related

  • @iamkhk111 Bahadur Shah was a poet and you need not have so much hate toward him for what his ancestors did.

  • @786swe When did I hated Bahadur Shah. Infact I admire him for his initiative.

  • @mnkhan2020 You said that Mughals would be no where without Indian Subcontinent and that the Mongols have destroyed everything in china, central Asia & afghan territories till turkey. But you didn't say that Islam made the Mongols to become what they became: The Mughuls. India didn't give the Mughals anything free; the Mughuls earned it by their bravery.

  • @786swe

Babur, Humayun and Akbar worked hard and fought hard and struggled. The rest never really had to,

  • @suryavajra Auranzeb was a one of the greatest emperors too. If it was not for him then Mughal empire would have collapsed a lot earlier after Jahangir's poor ruling and Shahjahan's extravagance.

  • @Asemahdi3

The problem with Aurangzeb was his intolerance. The kind of intolerance that turned otherwise loyal subjects into bitter enemies. Plus Aurangzeb rapidly expanded the Empire further, spending a lot more of the treasury on campaigns in the Deccan. So there was still extravagance, but on waging war, which sapped the treasury.

  • @Asemahdi3

Also remember, towards the end, there was a Pashtun rebellion. So essentially he was fighting multiple insurgencies and wars of expansion. Essentially it was merely Shah Jahan's extravagance by another name. The Mughal Empire at the time of his death was actually weaker than it was when he took the throne.

  • Muslims freed the world from oppression! You should be thankful, If they wanted to... India wouldn't be 80% hindu, you ignorant Hindu!

  • will you agree that currently terrorism is being perpituated by Muslims mainly and every Allah ka Banda should denounce such unhuman acts.

  • kuckudk, People like you have no shame generalizing like that while it's the muslims who suffer most from the Islamist (not Islamc) terrorists. Learn the difference.

  • Thats not true Mughal Emperor Akbar got along with hindus very well and he also had a hindu wife so u cant say every Mughal Emperor killed hindus.

  • whats wrong with moving hindus off the world

  • In 16th century, Muslim armies consisting of Mongol, Turkic, Persian, and Afghan warriors invaded India,If it wasn't for Jai Rajputs, Jai Marathas whole of then india(pakistan, bangladesh) would have been forced conversion to 100% muslims. Now is the time to recapture.

  • such lies and filth that you have come up with! your obviously an ignorant person, who knows little, if anything about History! Also pakistan was Muslim 1000 years before India, and the armies originated in Pakistan! The modern state of Pakistan is the recreation of these empires!

  • BS. NO SUCH THING AS PAKISTAN. Pakistan is India historically & will remain so. MUSLIM armies ORIGINATED from Afghan to Central Asian rulers NOT pakistan which is India historically. Modern state of Pakistan is created for Muslims well being & in Islam's name. Mughal empires & Delhi sultanates were rulers, kings who happens to be Muslims & Mughals practiced Liberal Islam. Modern Pakistan is a Terror harboring state created by British Raj.

  • you should not moan too much about indian division , if you go back into history , india was spread out to iran which includes afghanistan , now stop moaning about pakistan ok ...

  • Remmber that there were Hindus and Muslims fighting on all sides. Indeed Babur's Army consisted of Turks and Persian Qizilibash. But the first enemy they faced in India was the Sultan of Dehli, Ibrahim Lodi who was Afghan.

Remember that when Akbar was fighting Rana Pratap, the general of his armies was Ran Man Singh who was himself a Hindu Rajput of royal blood. So history in real life is complicated indeed!!

  • @RahulkammaDestroye What were you smoking to say "now is the time to recapature?

  • 1857 Incident- infamously, their severed heads presented to him in plates instead of his food. Bahadur Shah Zafar in his own words to the British that this was the way that the sons of Mughals came to their fathers — with their heads in red (i.e., dead). Thus Mughal Empire formally abolished which ruled from (1526-1857 A.D).

  • Bahadur Shah Zafar fled to Humayun's Tomb and hid there since people started driving moghuls out of their courts for lavishing and looting india as notorous as Aurangzeb (1618 -- 1707). However, he was captured and his sons Mirza Mughal and Khizar Sultan and his grandson Abu Bakr were executed in his presence by Major Hodson (British General)

  • we hope india is once again ruled by Mughals, inshallah

  • Yes, let's pray for the return of Hindustan!

  • The Mughals have exited history just liek the others.

    Look to the future...

  • Very sad. i hope he is reburied in Delhi one day

  • i so agree with you. Delhi was his kingdom and home. They must rebury him there. He was a quality poet if not anything else

  • You're right. He should be reburied at Dehli with full honors.
