I speak Greek, Dutch, French, Latin, German and English whitout an accent, a lot of dutch people can speak other languages whitout accent because not dutch people think its not important to learn dutch:S, btw Famke is really stupid that she was 19 and had a great accent on English, she should say that most dutch people do nog have an accent at all. She makes us look stupid.

She probably didn't say that because she would be lying. Dutch people DO have an accent, and as she says is thick. You don't feel it because your Dutch and speaking English in your country...well, of course you all sound the same.

Offcourse you are wright that I can't see Dutch peoples accents as well as Englisch or American people can, but really enough people speak English whitout a big accent. btw, you probably dont think Famke has an accent, i know a lot of people who speak english just as good as her (dutch people) But OK, we will never be able to speak English as good as English people but people need to let go of the judge that Dutch people can't speak English.

Firstly, I'd like to say that I think Famke Janssen is a splendid actress.

But I agree with the comment below, she seems conflicted in part because she's passionate about her career but also because she's a method actor. If she plays a neurotic character she's a neurotic woman...it must be very confusing.

I'm also dutch and 15,and I speak Dutch,German,English,Spanish,C­hinese,and Japanese.Well Famke is a family friend because my mom modeled Chanel with her,and it is true that she always trys harder every time and doesnt think that shes ever that good or beautiful.I've meet her in person and there really is no other woman as gorgeous.And by the way,I know from experience with her,she has never let critisim bother her.Thats one of the reasons why she lives in New York.

Yeah most Dutch people (like me) do.. We learn English, French, German, Spanish and on high levels also Latin in school here. :) And of course Dutch is our first language.

She looks tired in this interview. I'm from Holland too and I think she's just a wonderful actress and person. I can't help but feel a little bit proud seeing her in movies. Just because she's Dutch. :)

And... stunningly beautiful. Holland is said to be the country of beautiful (and tall) women. Which is kind of true, seeing her. ;)

Yeah, if I were the interviewer I'd probably be a little offended because she didn't seem very interested in talking to him etc, and she kept looking away and fiddling with something. I mean I know she's not usually like that in interviews, but still I feel for the reporter guy. She could've make it look like she was enjoying it a little bit more, imho.
