saw these guys open for queens of the stoneage they had the bassist from spoon playing with them. the audience totally didnt get it, many yells of "get off the stage" were heard
At the show I went to, where they opened up for The Faint, people moved backwards, plugged their ears, and shouted nasty things. I heard someone say "Stop screaming! You sound like a cat!" Some people were giving me and my friends nasty looks for liking them and dancing too. :|
@boulalax3 The same thing happened to me, and my friends at the 9:30 club in D.C. There were maybe a handful of other people that knew who they were, and everyone else was just there for the faint. We got to meet them while they were unloading their gear in the front, though so I hope our positive energy helped them out.
well, the comparison to that is while a few think its an abortion, some think its a progression. But you need more blueprint bands to make more polarizing bands. Then, the state of music would REALLY progress.
I think they got a keyboardist and a drummer so Johnny didn't have to play keys. When I saw them at the Siren Festival they had some cool lookin' dudes playing both.
Jag luv is the awesomest! Um, i think they became a quintet for touring purposes, because three guys just can't do all the parts onstage that you hear on the record...i dunno if the two newbies are 'permanent' additions tho...
Past Lives is better

This could get me raped... But I sort of think that Jaguar Love is to The Blood Brothers, what The Mars Volta was to At the Drive-in. Don't kill me.
