@elitecenafan The intro is a reverb/tap echo combination then he uses a pedal to kick it to just a distortion for the verses/chorus. I just save the distortion as the metal on the first setting on my Line 6 Spider IV amp and then start out with it on the tap/echo reverb since I don't have a pedal all I do is quickly hit the 1st amp setting and go to my metal setting for the distortion. And there's a lot less palm muting on the verses btw.
@gunner525 Really!?!?... I'd swear the way he's kickin on it he's usin a Tremolo pedal in the intro then to straight distortion. That sure sounds like a Tremolo pedal to me. just my .02.. ;-)
Hey are yo using the Drop D tuning or Standard Tuning. Also what pickups are those they seem to give a nice clear tone. What effects equipment do you use too?
