@aaronsdad65 - I feel for you and I am sorry for your loss. Thank you for the reponse :) It is difficult. However, I am not the dad, I am Sammy's mom & he was abandoned by his dad. I begged his dad to be in his life & he has come around a few times, but not consistently. Even though it was difficult & painful, I finally cut all ties with him. It is the best for my son to not have to go through his father's inconsistencies. I hope you get the chance to be with your son again. ~Niki

@nicholetta--- Any man can father a child, it takes a real man to be a DAD, my 1/2 brother let his 1/2 sister take his 2 kids, I made it clear to my wife , when we got together , it was forever, and when my three kids came along , everyone knows, don't mess with them or else, they're my life, and they're spoiled , and I wouldn't have it any other way. I was raised by an abusive father, he was a great teacher/example of what not to become. Madbalrog

from a mom, because of something her stepfather did to her she is with her grandmother, the grandmother was given guardianship when the child was small because she was very ill at birth and i worked 2 jobs and did this in order to try to get her healthy.during a period of time she came to be with me again & did nothing about the guardianship. i am blamed for what happened, i knew nothing. me & my mom are not on good terms & she is using my daughter as a tool to use against me. this is sad...

His dad has recently come back into his life! He is a VERY happy little boy! Thank you for all of your support and most of all, thank you to his Daddy for doing what he needed to for our son's sake :)

I hope other absent fathers will do what is right by their own children also. It is the little ones who suffer the most when a family breaks up.

Thank you, but this video is about my son missing his Daddy. If his Daddy misses his children, then he has a funny way of showing it. My son is going on however, and doesn't even really remember his real "Daddy" He has an image or fantasy in his mind now. Someday he will have a Daddy in his life again. :) Thank you for your comment.

Thank you... My son isn't the same little boy and I am having problems with him since his Daddy abandoned him. I wish that he would realize what kind of an impact from what he has done is having on our children. He will never be able to get back the closeness he once had with our son and our son is going to be the one to suffer from his Daddy's absence
