No wonder the International board of Education does not recognises our degree. Singapore's degree is worth more then Mlaysian's. It is impossible to please every one but lets not over do the NEP at the other races expense. 50 years is half a century and other races has been unfairly treated. Let other races have a break too. These group of non Malays who can afford 1/2 to 3 millions apartment are mostly forigners or Malaysians who worked overseas and back for retirement or want the property for investment. It's hard for non Malays to be rich in a Govt. with one sided policy. As soon as their business make monies teh Gov will rob them 30% in the name of NEP. Many non Malays had migrated or will migrate if they have an opportunity to do so. Get your facts right!

How come with the same qualification and experiences, we the Malays are low paid than others? Sales lines, how come we are given the Govt account and not others? Are'nt we competitive enough? Deat ptsong, we have encountered in the job advertisements that some companies require 'Mandarin' as a preferred language to fill in the vacancies. Some experiences from my Malay friends, who are well versed in Mandarin applied the job however was turned down on the spot as they openly prefer Chinese. How do you explain that?
As a private sector boss they will prefer a person who can speaks 2 language fluently then one. He would have chosen the Malay. Probably your Malay friend cannot speak Mandarin fluently! If he did he would have gotten the job. Private sector only wants to make profit not color of the skin. Be realistic nothing to do with race!

However, as I told you earlier, eventhough with the same qualification and experience, yet they were openly declined and stated they prefer Chinese.
Remember, there was once in the newspaper, the govt. open advertisement vacancies for police force and yet, only minority of other races applied ? How do you explain that? They even publish the process selection pictures in the newspapers.
Gone are the days, when they say 'Melayu malas'. I have a Chinese Businessman friend, who employs a fair percentage of races in his company because he believe in being fairness to all. And some of his Malay employees outshine the rest. Nowdays, we have the new breed of Malays. We learned and work hard. We are as competitive as others. We too made profits for the Company and to the nation.
Probably if that is so the boss thinks the Malays has enough support from the government as it is already whilst the Chinese and Indians are more desperately in need of a job. You fail to remember the Chinese has the highest income quota so they may be 20% but their taxes paid are much more then Malays pay. Right since Malaysia scholars rank the lowest in world recognition. We have been lowering the standard for the Malays so they can passed their exams and that is wrong. No wonder the International board of Education does not recognises our degree. Singapore's degree is worth more then Mlaysian's. It is impossible to please every one but lets not over do the NEP at the other races expense. 50 years is half a century and other races has been unfairly treated. Let other races have a break too. How about abolishing NEP and treating every Malaysian with equal opportunity for say just 10 years. If the economy progresses extend it further.

These group of non Malays who can afford 1/2 to 3 millions apartment are mostly forigners or Malaysians who worked overseas and back for retirement or want the property for investment. It's hard for non Malays to be rich in a Govt. with one sided policy. As soon as their business make monies teh Gov will rob them 30% in the name of NEP. Many non Malays had migrated or will migrate if they have an opportunity to do so. Get your facts right!

Some experiences from my Malay friends, who are well versed in Mandarin applied the job however was turned down on the spot as they openly prefer Chinese. How do you explain that?

How do we address this issue should we want fairness for all? Correction. The malays have not been pampered. Well said. Most of us do not depend on NEP. However, some who are really poor and helpless, do need it. It supports them to build themselves up and slowly do not rely much on NEP.

That's exactly what happen Chinese are forced into extinction through this NEP. Just like animals in the forest if there are pleanty for them they florished and Chinese and Indian has been deprieved through NEP. Only the poor remains and they are not producing as it's hard life for them. No jobs, no college opportnity for them. Shameful!

No I am not envious with their tongkats. Except these tongkats made by stealing the rights from non Malays. Their rights to equal opportunities as Malaysians. Get your facts right. If you remember that ugly history of Malaysia - May 13th 1963! The Malays started the riots. The Chinese has been too silent while being shortchanged for 50 years. Turn the table if the Chinese get all the benefits, eg contract, university palcing and 99% Gov. jobs will Malays be that quiet?

You fail to remember the Chinese has the highest income quota so they may be 20% but their taxes paid are much more then Malays pay. Chinese also pay higher in housing so Malays can get 5-10% discount. Something unheard off in other countries. The mnority subsidizing and help the majority. How shameful. It should be the other way round. When can Malays compete in equal standing as 1 Malaysia without Govnm. Tongkat!

I do not believe govt does that. There are also being shared with others fairly as well. Nowdays, the malays do not depend on govt scholarships and businesses too much. Encourage more positive opinions on racial issues so that those who listen or read will get the inspiration and motivation to fight racism in this country. Negative comments are not helping at all.
