Also, thank you for not trying to sell me any gadgets or gismos in your video. Very refreshing to know that someone can rely on their skills and not an array of useless tools.
Thank you very much for a simple to understand explanation of how to quilt as you go. I am planning on using this technique for joining four quarters of a king sized quilt after quilting. I simply cannot quilt the entire thing in my machine and refuse to pay for someone else to do it for me. Thanks again.
I love this technique. I have a panel with christmas kittens and was wondering what to do with it. I think it would be perfect for this method. Thank you for your clear and precise videos.
Yours is the only tutorial I've found that doesn't use that "binding" piece between to join the blocks, I don't like binding strips in my quilts, so thank you for demonstrating this method.
What a nice, super quick quilt to make in a hurry for a gift! I like the idea of stitching again along each side of the seam after joining the blocks. I think this would make for a more secure join since you didn''t hand stitch the join of the wadding/batting. And NO hand stititchin -- not even the binding. Yippee! By not doing as much actual quilting on each block, this seems like it would be a nice cozy quilt to cuddle up with on the couch with a book or TV. Thanks, Rose!
Love your videos! Great explanation and so easy to listen to!!
