I think there are other factors at play, including the educational and work background of each candidate, their physical appearance (i.e., did they walk into the interview clean-shaven or with dreadlocks and tattoos?). These things matter in the corporate world, and companies have the right to set any standards of professionalism they deem fit.

I think there are other factors at play, including the educational and work background of each candidate, their physical appearance (i.e., did they walk into the interview clean-shaven or with dreadlocks and tattoos?). These things matter in the corporate world, and companies have the right to set any standards of professionalism they deem fit.
