Krugman's work years ago was quite respectable. At some point, he became much more interested in how he felt about things rather than being truly objective. It's great at making friends and building a following, but it's bad for the profession.
@jwinter228 What has he done more recently that hasn't been objective? If you're going to make such a claim, at least back it up with proof. Only seems hypocritical, otherwise.
@error9900 He clearly has a grasp of economics, but he chooses to support policies for reasons of political ideology, in spite of the economic harm he knows such a line of policy will cause.
