The problem is you are judging them because of the way they experience God. I dont go around telling them they are wrong and they must only feel the peace I feel and not the drunken joy they feel. God is not a box. John Paul Jackson talks about dreams a lot. I believed and i started having dreams. Everyone has a different experience of God in Jesus.

I'll admit, I too am a little thrown off by some of Crowder's teaching methods, for a lot of my friends are drug addicts and I really don't think it's right to represent the touch of God in comparison to Heroin (even though it's way better than Heroin). Still, everything he says is truth, he has incredible miracles and healings in his ministry. I understand if one may find this kind of thing demonic, but watch some of "The Jesus Trip" and I'm sure you won't be able to find anything but truth.

Crowder is a lightning rod to every believer who takes themselves way too seriously. His books are sound and Biblical. (I would suggest you read one of his books if you really want to understand him.) His antics are admitedly crazy and perhaps in some cases immature, but that doesnt make him a false teacher or from the devil or from hell. The so-called believers on here are embarassingly and stunningly gatuitous in there condemnation and assumptions.
@denoinwa Crowders teachings are far from Biblical sound, he twists scripture to fit his own deception. He may sound like he's stable at times, but he is far from it. I have read his books, he quotes as being from God such heresy as Catholic saints that worshiped the pope, many mystics that have walked off the pages of scripture a long time ago. When Crowders teachings, antics and immaturity stand next to scripture the light of God's Holy word are blinding to his deliberate darkness.

I have worked with drug addicts for years. I find it offensive that this guy associates drug references with the Holy Spirit. I am a charismatic Christian and I have had many experiences of the Holy Spirit, but this is going too far I'm afraid. The work of the Holy Spirit is to produce real, lasting fruit. I would be seriously worried about my kids being exposed to so many drug references and it all being mixed up with God. Drugs are not funny!

@md1980s It has everything to do with just receiving the holy spirit and accepting allowing him to enter in to you as much as you can physically contain to where you become almost childlike. In a way, it is to show people, especially those who are addicted to drugs, sex, money, material goods, etc..., that you can have much greater experiences with God than you can with any earthly pleasures.

The scripture states that the gospel is the power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16) not token the ghost, or drinking out of a flask what they call the new wine, or giving the apostolic birdie. It seems that John Crowder thinks he's smarter than God.

I smoked pot till there was no tomorrow. I've abused drugs in the past but after accepting and living for Christ he did away with that. Making reference to "toking the Ghost" and "mainlining Jesus" is to the point where the lines of Christ are so blurred that anything goes. I will not be surprised when they start simulating sex with the Ghost. That one clip already showed someone killing using a machine gun and knife. Freedom in Christ I'm all for it but that doesn't mean we do whatever we want.

@elvenranger04 It's the Gospel message that will "reach" these people. We are merely the messengers. When we start adding or subtracting from the Gospel message we take matters into our hands and out of the Holy Spirit's and that's where it gets dangerous. I was a drug addict and hopeless but Christ turned that all around and gave me hope and freed me from drugs. On the other side there's Christians that have a holier than thou attitude and I believe that's completely wrong.

Have any of you ever taken the time to go hear Crowder in person? Everyone freaks out because he's a little strange...I've listened to him in person and he is a different kind of guy, and strange, BUT His message is totally centered on Christ and they guy has a very extensive knowledge of the Bible and what it says. Granted the drug analogies are wierd and probably not needed, but listen to the meat of his message before you criticize what you don't know.

I'll admit, I too am a little thrown off by some of Crowder's teaching methods, for a lot of my friends are drug addicts and I really don't think it's right to represent the touch of God in comparison to Heroin (even though it's way better than Heroin). Still, everything he says is truth, he has incredible miracles and healings in his ministry. I understand if one may find this kind of thing demonic, but watch some of "The Jesus Trip" and I'm sure you won't be able to find anything but truth.

(I would suggest you read one of his books if you really want to understand him.) His antics are admitedly crazy and perhaps in some cases immature, but that doesnt make him a false teacher or from the devil or from hell. I'm not surprised groups like John Crowder's ministry exist. People attracted to Charismatic and Pentecostal groups have rejected traditional Christianity because they believe it does not follow Christ's teachings.
First, "Christian Rock" replaced the use of Psalms to attract younger people because it would try to compete with secular music. Now, snorting "lines" from the pages of the bible is promoted, or smoking the "holy spirit" in imitation of drugs. This should open people's eyes.

I have worked with drug addicts for years. I find it offensive that this guy associates drug references with the Holy Spirit. I am a charismatic Christian and I have had many experiences of the Holy Spirit, but this is going too far I'm afraid. The work of the Holy Spirit is to produce real, lasting fruit. I would be seriously worried about my kids being exposed to so many drug references and it all being mixed up with God. Drugs are not funny!

I don't see why we spend all our time "demon hunting", but I know this movement. There's more Christ's love in one small house assembly than there is in about 1000 american regular churches. @md1980s It has everything to do with just receiving the holy spirit and accepting allowing him to enter in to you as much as you can physically contain to where you become almost childlike. In a way, it is to show people, especially those who are addicted to drugs, sex, money, material goods, etc..., that you can have much greater experiences with God than you can with any earthly pleasures.

I smoked pot till there was no tomorrow. I've abused drugs in the past but after accepting and living for Christ he did away with that. Making reference to "toking the Ghost" and "mainlining Jesus" is to the point where the lines of Christ are so blurred that anything goes. I will not be surprised when they start simulating sex with the Ghost. That one clip already showed someone killing using a machine gun and knife. Freedom in Christ I'm all for it but that doesn't mean we do whatever we want.

When we start adding or subtracting from the Gospel message we take matters into our hands and out of the Holy Spirit's and that's where it gets dangerous. I was a drug addict and hopeless but Christ turned that all around and gave me hope and freed me from drugs. On the other side there's Christians that have a holier than thou attitude and I believe that's completely wrong.

@tintinworld If someone was handing you a cup of poison and another person warned you before you drank it would you quote the same scripture to them? Would you have said the same to those who sought to warn of Jim Jones, would you have called them judgmental or Loving? Is it more loving in your eyes to warn of the tragedy and possibly avoid it or stand by and watch it happen and feel self-righteous that you judged no one?

@tintinworld These videos are proof of how people will take little stuff that they don't like, cut it out, and compile it together to get people to believe certain things about other people. People can be misrepresented by how they are portrayed in stuff like this, and all these videos do is that...misrepresent. The people who bash Crowder and others like him make claims with no proof to back up what they say.

If John Crowder and his faithful band of followers would repent and stop blaspheming Jesus Christ, there would be no need for the videos. It doesn't bother you that John Crowder misrepresents and bashes Jesus. If you truly loved the Jesus Christ of the Bible, you would not tolerate John Crowder and his heretical, blasphemous stupidity.

These videos are designed to show just the stuff people don't like and influence others to come to the same conclusion as them. It's the same as how today's media creates public opinion through what they filter out. Also, everyone has failed to show how Crowder and others like him are being blasphemous. If you make that claim, you should substantiate it.

These guys are an offense to a Holy God and this is why they have to use stupid mockeries and made up manifestations! Blaspeming the Holy Spirit is out of control here. @jackbartolli51 Lol yea, ok. the clips you have of John are too short to be put into context, the main stream media used this technic to put Obamha in office, you probably voted for him, most of the clips in your video was not of john but of others who could be plants and actors to discredit the man. your video is misrepresenting John Crowder, If you do not agree with the message then stay away. BTW the leaders of Jesus day also called him a Heretic, so I guess John is in good company.

I don't have to discredit John Crowder he does a good job of that himself. This is one guy and group that certainly don't need to be exaggerated. I couldn't misrepresent this group in my wildest dreams. If you "walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh" you will have gotten a 'nails on a chockboard' feeling when you watch this guy. The Holy Spirit is just that Holy. And as God is Holy so is His Spirit. John Crowder be careful.

The conviction of the Lord is not a scary feeling because Paul tells us God rebukes those He loves and reminds us of the messages encouragment! The scariest feeling is when people are no longer convicted by the promised Comforter whose job is to convict the world of sin! John has no convictions in the Holy Spirit, none!!! God have mercy.

BUT centering an entire ministry on one bible verse to reduce the Holy Spirit to a narcotic is purely demonic. Have these men have no fear of the Lord. They have to know there is no biblical basis for this. Their erroneous reading of Acts is made so they can continue this great folly. This is not Christ centered and I think deep down they now it. Crowder says he bilocated in Ireland-his pride has blinded him because any examination of this phenomena would lend itself to a simple demonic manifestation. Yet his followers so easily accept these occult practices.

There will be a heavy fine to be paid-if not in this life in the next.. I love to get high on the Most High but crowder takes things way to far and is being disrespectful to God. Its really sad. I could never imagine this being excepted at my church. If it ever is Id find a new church. As my friend Roger Webb says if you think youre shooting snorting or smoking the Holy Spirit you are in a deception this is straight from the pit of hell.

Have any of you ever taken the time to go hear Crowder in person? Everyone freaks out because he's a little strange...I've listened to him in person and he is a different kind of guy, and strange, BUT His message is totally centered on Christ and they guy has a very extensive knowledge of the Bible and what it says. Granted the drug analogies are wierd and probably not needed, but listen to the meat of his message before you criticize what you don't know.

@blahdyblahable I have seen Crowder in person, I have heard his message, pretty much the same as Jim Jones, preaches some truth so that he can later fill you with a lot of deception! Kind of like a Manson theory going, he loves those that the religious spirits have cast off. You know the kind, your parents don't accept you, but I love you unconditionally type. Absolutely no power of God present at all, just a lot of embellished stories. Very shallow, no substance whatsoever! Sad to watch.

Those who criticize Crowder don't even take the time to listen to the meat of his message. He is strange, but that doesn't discredit the fact that he preaches the message of Jesus.

Saying God stopped it is kind of a huge claim by the way...I don't think God would stop people like Crowder who preach Christ as the central theme to their message. So now I ask you, what about Crowder's message is not consistent with the gospel?

Jim Jones taught Christ as his central theme also, it was what he mixed in with it (Leaven) that spoiled the whole lump. @vinnieActs2030 I totally agree that the aposolic birdie is not really needed...that kind of stuff isn't really appropriate. A lot of Crowder's drug references and stuff could probably be classified as something he could do without. But the basic theme of his message is Christ, and that's the basis of Christianity. We all make mistakes by the way, and please provide proof of Crowder "leavening the whole lump" as you think.
