G'day, that time it was free thanks to a generous mate.
We have just made the South West Snow Project Part ll so subscribe to our channel for the video - coming very soon. The ice wasn't free this time but you need a couple of grand's worth of ice to get a full day of boarding in unless you live somewhere where the temp is constantly below 0 which is nowhere in West Oz!
Soo awsome, right when the season ends i have the itch to go again. And it gets worse and worse throughout the summer. Until its unbearable around early november, then opening day comes and my life becomes complete. I enjoy your guys videos. It makes me smile :D
Thanks mate. We got about 18 hours out of the 'snow' with the temperature around 5 - 15 degrees (celcius). We didn't wax our boards which was a mistake and cost us a lot of speed in the run-up especially when the air temp rose in the morning. We won't make that mistake again.
The snow ran fastest late at night and first thing in the morning so anyone thinking to have a crack at this should be aiming to start jumping at sundown and be prepared for a huge night!
Cheers mate. We are in the early stages of planning a competitive event somewhere in WA in the future. We're not pretending it will be as good as a trip to the real snow but we'll certainly make it happen if its possible.
cool, pardon the pun.
