  • you know they made a similiarmove to the real event but on 7th street in new york its called the vanishing on 7th street starring hayden christensen and john leguizimo

very good movie in my opinion

  • Why does this say "First Colony", It was the First Attempted Colony, Jamestown was the First colony.

  • Have you guys ever thought that when they came back for the lost colony they might have gotten lost?

  • this movie looks very amateurish.

  • I think they just abandoned it when supplies didn't come and went to the mainland, where they were probably killed off by natives and other complications over time.

  • Awesome!!

  • i live in the lost city of Roanoke 8D (Alabama XD)

  • wierd shit like this is the reson why it dissapeard

  • what is not being told, is there were no tribe called the croatoan they said them selves(the cohaire tribe was their name) they live on "croatanisland" but they were never called buy any of those names.and when John white left the island there was no wall, but on his returned there was a 7foot fence still standing but no housing structures.judging from this movie, they had some pretty sturdy foundations and the only one who knew the colony was on that island was the royal family...cobble,cobble!

  • Melissa De La Cruz Created an amazing story and it was sprung by this story . If it wasnt for that storie i would have never known about this. The Book is called Blue Blood By the way

  • poor guy, your from the little johnson family? hehe

  • @skeetersbiscuits good one lol

  • when they went look 4 then at roanoke they found the letters C-R-O and croatoan carved in a pole

  • well, when the british came back to the colony there was absolutly NO evidence except the carving on the post and C-R-O on a nearby tree, evertin they had , the wells, homes, it just .. dissapeared . if they left the colony they would find some evidence ,but they didint. therefore i speculate that they were wiped out by a hurricane

  • yea but they said that they found a wooden sort of wall still standing. How can that happen if it was hit by a hurricane?

  • @killer55104 Well If they did get Wiped out by a hurricane why were there still tree's there? That's the questions you have to ask yourself. I Think they Might have left with the Indianas, Since John White couldn't search any further because of the storm that could be the answer, Or they just died from the days there, Like after they walkd far away.

  • they probably went to the crotan tribe for help to survive disease and famine

  • Its a good theory because during that time Indians also mixed in with white people including the famous Pocahontas.

I'm sure the indians killed anyone who fought them, but once they won they prolly had some white pussy.

  • Is that a fan made movie??

  • I'm an interpretor for The Lost Colony. They weren't considered "lost" per se. They knew where the colony went. It was more abandoned, actually. They found letters "C-R-O" etched in a tree assuming they went to the Croatoan tribe. But 3 years later, what they thought they saw were native americans dressed in Elizabethan clothing and had blonde hair and blue eyes. It's just a theory, though. There is no actual proof.

  • I'm a descendant of the lost colony thru 2 family lines. The Johnson and Little family.

  • Robert Little and Henry Johnson?

  • thats cool!

  • @Monasukapanough realyy?? :C can u tel me more i hav a project on the decendents of the lost colony !! please tel me ur family history !!??

  • Bertie your group seem to have made a good looking picture. I will be ordering my copy this weekend and thanks for being so upfront with news in the past.

    Congrats.

    VG

  • I'm in that!

  • This is the uk production Ive heard about? That reportedly cost lest than £10,000 to make? Looks interesting, but no indians...?

  • yes it is, and no indians. but they are refered to, and i guess its really hard to cast native indians in the UK especially when there probably not paid, so they stuck to what they had.

  • Cant wait to see this...what an excellent job you guys have done!
