I personally like the Junge Falls theme from the 64 version of Diddy Kong Racing but why did they have to change the one on the DS version the DS version sucks.

The difference between this n in the ds version is that in the ds u can costimized ur vechicle and ur icon, like if u were in the race, n once u finished n it shows all the scores n the names, those icon u see next to the name like the character instead of that u can make one wit any art or drawing u want. plus theres more stuff to this game in ds, i just gotta explore.

This hybrid of english and japanese language in jap games seems strange. It seems inconsistent how they change languages. Plus, Why are Playstation and Nintendo logos in english characters when they're jap companies? strange

Well the first game with Diddy Kong was Donkey Kong Country and last time I checked that game was developed by RARE!

In 1995 Rare signed to develop games exclusively for Nintendo. Rare and Nintendo were almost one in the same until Microsoft bought them. Rare made DKC for Nintendo and technically owns the rights to Diddy Kongs character along with any others in DCK other than Donkey Kong himself.

MN12BIRD Unplugged!, I like the sound of that :D. Dude, you don't have to plug me anymore lol. The first screeen says that if you want to , you can plug in the rumble pack or a memory pack if you want to save, the memory pack will be used for the ghost data that you save and don't pull out either of the packs while the game is going. If you want to put in a pack at this time, do it now. Second screen, top is "Adventure, bottom is Race Track" :D, I can ;O. whoops!, forgot to delete the save lol

There's nothing wrong with being unplugged. It amazes me how well you, and viper29, and SuperDan88, and lukemorse1, and (I THINK her name is) xTatSplatx, etc., speak in front of the camera. It's like you've been doing it your whole life.

I don't have an N64, but since this game's been ported to the DS (which everyone and their mother's dog's best friend's cousin's roommate owns) I'll have to hunt down a copy.

i had mario kart on N64 but never played it. put it in and it actually messed up that expansion pak?jumper pak. it wouldn't work with any other game after that and took the N64 back where i got it and a few games i was testing when it happened and the same thing happened to like 5 different N64's there and i got a a replacement with a expansion pak free when i only had a jumper pak. really would like to know if this happened to anyone else.

I used to play this game alot a buddies house. it rocks :D

I think if you picked up the same color balloon multiple times in a row you upgrade the weapon. like if you got 3 boost balloons in a row the boost is insanely fast and long. The multiplayer rocked aswell.

I also seem to remember you could race this clock called tictoc and it was near impossible to beat him.

I just bought a Dazzle dvc 100 instant dvd recorder capture divice. It works well for recording game footage but you have to do some converting before uploading to youtube cause the pinnacle capture software that it comes with only imports the video as a DVD file format .VOB. The Dazzle works just fine in windows vista 32 bit. 64 bit requires a driver update.

Yeah most of the games I have are mainly English if anything. I guess its just easier to do the game once and not have to change out graphics and most people in Japan can speak English I think.

Except in actual execution, CTR is miles better. Although CTR wouldn't have been without Diddy Kong Racing. Both spectacular games, offer a much better singleplayer than Mario Kart ever could, but neither could quite stand up to the great multiplayer of Mario Kart.

People buy them for collectibility. The boxes and cart artwork are usually different from American games. That goes for most systems games.

Yeah I even tried setting the program for the webcam to Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode. Still didn't work. Doesn't help that its 64-bit I mean I can try and manually install the drivers but it says its for 32-bit only.

Thats too bad about your gamebridge man. That is one of the main reasons why I don't switch to another OS. Because if I did I couldn't use my editor or my capture device. So nuts to that lol. One day I would like to get a Mac. When I used to do computer repair the main thing that kept me busy was reinstalling Windows. Anyhow, awesome video man that N64 is looking way nice.

The DS version has online play. And each time you get the balloons with a weapon in hand, it will upgrade the weapon you have to either give you more or make it more powerful.
