Think of it.The earth is attacked by creatures from another dimension who have mastered the portal technology and use torches for lighting because they haven't inverted light bulbs yet. And this guy.made up from lava without any distinct organs able to resist all kinds of firepower except electricity.

It all makes sense.

But having the buttons of the arc machine put so far away.. that i cannot comprehend.

@JHDIII1987 lol i still have a old computer for these games only. DOS games are way better than the port versions every time. the sountracks are better. Doom is alot better in its original PC format then it will ever be on windows 7 and all the modern crap. i play Heretic, Hexen, Strife, Quake, Hexen 2, even Chex Quest. i still play the DOS quakes as well. even that old game called MUD lol. all for that one computer. it will not and hasnt ever been updated past the year 1997. and it still runs!

I was a big Quake fan. Still got my big box version, plus the Scourge Of Amagon and Dissolution Of Eternity Mission Packs as well. I even made my first ebay user name "Chunky Kibbles" after the description of how to kill the zombies in the manual. The Zombies were great, if you could get them to attack something other than you, they just kept at it til the opponent was dead (loved to get those ripper creatures in a crossfire between two zombies, lol)

Everything in this game is so eerie, the lack of music adds so much, the ONLY bgm is the wind... every Quake after it should have been in a different series tbh, I wish they'd make a new Quake like this, this is like, medieval Doom but less sci-fi, new Quake games are basically Doom 3 without the scariness, Quake 1 has nothing to do with the other ones, and while Quake 3 arena ruled, Quake 1 is my all time favorite

The dont make them like this no more, were gameplay stoo upfront, and still with a low-end pc back then involve you as player. Now games these days are way to easy :C And all for that fancy look...

Hopefully with the blueray it will get bit by bit better to make better levels/maps for games. Quake ***** rating no doubt! EPIC!
