  • You drew first blood..:-)

  • F A K E

  • I'm Thai and I also practice both karate 'n muay thai. So the man who use Muay thai is just a beginer level (about blue belt) but Karate is an intermediate level (Low dan - blck belt). But I can say both are normal fighter. If u want to know real Muay Thai come to Thai or Cambodia. If u want to know karate go to japan... (I 'm Shotokan. But I can tell U that's not okinawa.)

  • this is not muay thai this is some russian guy who did kickboxing for 1 month and calls him self a thaiboxer

  • I dont see why people fight over which martial art is the best. Muay thai and karate are both great martial arts. Put 2 fighters in a fight with equal skill level in their art and it would most likley be a draw. No art is better then another. Also both are made from one form thats more deadly. Muay thai is from Muay Boran. Karate is from Te. In which both were used to kill whoever attacked them.

  • This muay thai fighter didn't learn proper muay thai

The front leg of Muay thai always rise up a bit in order to defense himself with Theep (push kick)

Muay Thai not only about using only fist elbow knee shin and instep

Come to Thailand to learn proper Muay Thai

  • To Okinawa karate the only way you can prove how much straight you are is come to Thailand.

Not to fight with crap Muay Thai fighter.

  • Karate vs Muay thai . thai fighter is oruginal win

  • The "Thai" Boxer sucked ass... I did better than that on my first Muay Thai Class.... Yet i have respect for karate. Simple yet effective.

  • @Itakaran007 respect, persevere in your training and maintain your open mind osu

  • They were both shit....why put this crap on....

  • i saw some shitty karate...and all ground was bjj

  • muay thai guy just like ameteur . L O L !!

  • it is not about the style, it about the fighter, a better figher will always win no matter the style

  • that must be one shitty muay thai fighter then

  • I want to fight the karate guy. I'm a thaiboxer from Mexico. I would be possible??

  • Okinawa Karate blows always used jujitsu

  • Im a Kyokushin and Muai Thai fighter also. But what a Thai fighter is this? Red kruang? Because he enter on the fight already terrified.... sad.

  • okinawa karate rules

  • that charge in by the so called muay thai fighter is not muay thai at all.

  • Poor Muay-Thai Fighter.

No Check... No Clinch... No Push Kick.... No Elbow... Always try to use Back(Spin)Kick.... That's stupid.

And his stance is wrong... That's not Muay-Thai Stance

Learn from mistake... and you'll get better.

  • @kunladej the muaythai fighter may in fact have been a karate guy as well,he was just using my mauy thai moves to impersonate a thai fighter just to make the mauy thai look bad.iv seen many school and dojos do that for demonstrations to make there art look more impressive.if that was a real fight, the muay thai fighter would have disabled the karate guy in the first 60 seconds.how do i know? because that is a historical fact.try and find a fight where karate beats the thai fighter.there isnt one.

  • @johnmkrs83 That is not a historical fact. Just because your favorite art is Muay thai, it does not suddenly make all other arts lesser or worse. Don't fall into Buyers Remorse. Look up Kyokushin Karate. Plenty of really good Muay thai fighters lost to Kyokushin guys and vice a versa. And Muay thai does not have an exclusive hold on any technique. There is only an x amount of ways to do anything.

Since you asked for it: watch?v=W3LUOYxI_FA

  • @johnmkrs83 "An advanced Karate black belt can punch with a force of 2000 pounds per square inch."

The problem karate has a bad rep, is because of america. If you look at traditional karate, you're screwed.

  • @LightxKira5643 The United States have turned nearly every eastern martial art to cross their borders into mcdojo scams. I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happened to Muay Thai eventually.

  • @ZomBLord yeah the same thing will

  • Proschai, moi drug.

  • That's how they roll in Russia baby!

  • I'm not sure that we're looking at a MuayThai boxer here?

Just a Karate fighter with shorts, vest and a high guard .

Something was lost in the translation perhaps?

  • I think they both can win but the muay thai figther don't represent it well karate an muay thai are very dangerous both but if u learn muay thai and jujitsu u are just a fight machine

  • Okinawa karate - The Best !

  • Opps...correction: *face not fact

  • Muay thai fighters today definitely need to learn throwing and punching to the face like kyokushin. All arts do learn from each other and nothing's wrong with it.

  • @PeaceAZN20xx muay thai do punching to the face not kyokushin the best way to train muay thai is train in thailand in europe they only train 2-3 hours a day 3 day a week or more but in thailand they train 3-6 hours 7 days a week more serious training sparring and prepare for real match

  • @thatsanai Muaythai fighters do punch in to the face when they're both standing. What I meant was that muaythai fighters shall learn how to throw opponents down and smack the fact like 6:40. If muaythai fighters are too prideful to adopt other arts' techniques, then that's very sad because all arts do evolve over time periods.

In fact, they can even bring back some muayboran techniques such as throwings, submissions, as well.

  • @PeaceAZN20xx what i know is muaythai boran is still use to fight nowdays but not on the ring of pro just for amatuer is it like ong bak 1 the hand wrap by rope and its stand up figh but no rules u can fight til death or give up or get ko that the rules and this fight can only be seen between the line of burma and thailand nowdays fighters i believe it is becuz of gamble they like to see more clinch and elbow and that excite thai peoples more

  • @PeaceAZN20xx; Youre saying Muay thai fighters don't punch to the face?? Hahahahahaha

    Wait, they don't throw?? hahahahahahahaa

    watch?v=M3R4xtjl5b4 enough said.

  • this not muay thai this is shit

  • @StirpeRomana it was fake,

  • I learned both Muaythai and Karate(but I practiced muaythai first cuz I'm Thai). I don't know which style is better. I can see that Muaythai training focus on sparring not like karate which focus on the Katas.

In this video, the muaythai guy didn't use front kicks . He also didn't use much knees or elbows.

I think the problem with karate is Katas. I think that some techniques in Katas are useless. I have to do Kanku-Dai in my next Dan test. In real fight I can never use it.

  • @Picxxt

There's nothing wrong with kata. Yes, it's very useless to help you in a fight (it's essentially a reenactment of a previous fight). The problem is people don't spar enough and do too much kata and it won't prepare you for a fight.

In Kyokushin, we spar a lot and do quite a few prearranged drills to help us get accustomed to combos.

I don't buy into the "we don't fight, it's against martial arts way" dojos.

Well, why are we training and throwing moves like we are fighting?

  • @Picxxt Cause thats not what a Kata is. Kata is the base that techniques are built on. All the techniques in any martial art that contains kata's come from only the katas. The kata gets you in great form and power if practiced multiple times gives you muscle memory for that form and power so in the actual technique you are much more efficient and much more stronger.

  • Comment removed

  • in a street fight, Karate would win. Muai thai is good when facing sme1 ur own size, but wen going at some1 bigger, u cant dominate him by power, u have to rely on counterpunching.

Also, i think the Muai thai guy got lucky, cuz usually when ur mounted like that, theres no ref to stop the match and ur gona get fucked with punches unless u know BJJ

  • Same can happen to kyokushin.

  • Nice fighters,It reminds me my training when I was in iran in the early 80's.we used to train in the same way as those guys but I 've never ever seen it since in the west!!!!!!

  • I give it to the karate man this time. But The "Muay Thai" Guy was more like a kick boxer but whatever.

  • Do you know how hard it's gonna be to wash the blood off that white gi...

  • What language is this in? Is it russian?

  • @iMaKeUsHoOk Yes it is russian.

  • @iMaKeUsHoOk Roger that.

  • I think the muay thai guy just wasn't very good. No low kicks , no combos

  • @virtuaq True. the karate guy doesn't moves his legs so much, low kicks and foot jabs would be useful on that time.

  • @virtuaq no elbows ah ah ah...total fake match, the thai guy was less than a rookie!!

  • @virtuaq Like karate uniform. But weaker than Muay Thai.

  • @virtuaq I agree poor boxing skills Muai Thai was not well represented here.

  • @AntonioGuamil What are talking about that guy had good hands. Dangerous.

  • 2summo85: this is just sport, but sport and real situations are very different. And oh sorry, but MT - is traditional art of Tailand. And Tailand's fighters are famous in all of the world.

  • just look 3:48 and 6:40 - the muay thai fighter in real situation are allready dead two times

  • traditional karate is full contact karate - if not, then it is not traditional but sport karate. Original karate was created for real situations but Muay thai is just a sport and they are fare from best fighters in world. Watch muay thai vs brazilian jiu jitsu

  • @summo85 are you stupid? muay thai was a martial art that design to kill people, look up for khai khanomtom! and muay thai vs jiu jitsu? they are 2 different martial art that work for different sittuation how can you compare? ?!!

  • @hwangsutran muay thai is NOT a martial art. Muay thai is a combat sport. What you're saying is muay boran, the dead martial art.

  • @TAC412 true muay thai boran and muay chaiya! but not many ppl know about muay boran thse day

  • @hwangsutran Yeah but even it's a sport vs a martial art, I still have respect to the kyokushin guy. He should've seriously injured the muay thai dude at the end, but still it depends, muay boran fighters would block the punches with elbows. I'm sure of it. They sometimes block muay thai kicks, the most poweful kicks, with elbows as well.

  • @hwangsutran He *could've lol not should've, my bad

  • great fight

most people think muay thai is so much more better than anything else

but this here proves its the fighter not the style

yeah the karate guy got cut but the mt guy still got his ass beat!

  • @joelaka3pac123 u let a white guy represent muaythai? what a joke and karate does suck they hope around like kangoroos and no hit to the face

  • @Taywarit13 he is white

what does that have to do with it?

    nothing dont be an idiot

  • @Taywarit13 Dutch muay thai artists are some of the best on earth, race is unimportant

  • @Taywarit13 look for kyokushin karate vs muay thai. Full Contact Karate and traditional karate are very different

  • @Taywarit13 Real Karateka don't hop and do hit to the face. Lyoto Machida was the UFC champion and he's a Karateka.
