Shatner isn't overated, He just take himself over completly a role character, (in my country we'd say "he enter inside on character mind"). I don't think on that shot he is overacting, even 'cause there's many others shots on his career which really can be seen as overated... but I particularly think he is just plays with passion to.

Well, MacGyver, A-Team & Walker Tx Ranger were mid-80s-early 90s shows that were silly & unrealistic but since they were fun, everybody loved them.

Well, there are stupid shows like Lost & Desperate Housewives that everyone hates especially because they get to the point to where you can't even suspend belief.

The only show I can suspend belief on is 24
