Why don't you just post the entire interview here? Instead you only post snippets of these types of interviews. I am not sure why. Make it more convenient - post the complete interviews here.
"Stop stressing and start living?" Food for thought,.....it gets ya thinkin' that you have to keep innovating your body and mind, never fall for conformity, we should always be active, in body and mind.=)
@Nicoleiia Try stop eating gluten! I've had hypothyroidism for 9 years, 8 months ago i stopped eating gluten completly, went off my thyroid medication and lost 24 pounds without starving myseld at all !
I really like the Underground Wellness channel, but the interviews are always so hard to listen to. Bad sound! after one minute into the interviews I can't take it anymore and drop out..... Sean, plz do something about the sound! Its almost like you're doing the interviews via cellphone from a different continent. Your vids have become really high quality lately! Its time the sound quality follows!
I think at times we blame our thyroid when it really is our lifestyle that is affecting our weight. However I do I think though there are genuine people out there that do eat a healthy diet & healthy lifestyle & still have a heck of a time maintaining their weight. I know, I am one of them. As a kid when I was growing, I felt like I couldn't have a single treat or bad thing otherwise I would gain weight. I now take a kelp tablet every day and my weight actually gains and loses normally.
I wrecked my metabolism with low calorie, low fat diets coupled with a very stressful life. I went from a slim 110 to 170 in about 5 years, all while dieting and doing cardio and all the things "they say" you should do. I'm now eating right and working on healing my adrenals and thyroid. I hope to be able to regain my slim figure and good energy levels someday.
In the early 1900's doctors in America were prescribing Sodium Fluoride as a medication which was effective at slowing an over-active thyroid. It has also been shown that Fluoridated water, with quantities as low as 1ppm (the standard rate of fluoridation in most places) have some effect on slowing the thyroid
i have a thyroid (hypo) disorder for over 20 years i still have my thyroid and take replacement hormone. and this video is correct. when the levels of thyroid hormones are balanced and you still can not lose weight/have issues look at stress and diet
I’m sure a few do have legitimate thyroid issues, which are not caused by diet/lifestyle choices, but are genetically based. But I emphasize, this is extremely rare. Most of the people who claim to have thyroid dysfunction, and attribute that as the cause of their weight problems, actually either don't have it or have it in such a minimal sense that it doesn't make much of a difference to their weight. In other words MOST people blame their thyroid, to excuse their bad lifestyle/dietary habits.
I went Paleo and lost 20lbs in 3 months - the mixture of being naturally gluten free as well as removing all processed foods made SUCH a difference!
