It was a treat to hear this song live on Valentine's Day, especially since they don't do it much, but I heard Jon sing Always live in a previous Toronto show and it was nothing short of amazing to hear. When he's on, he's really on! Personally, I prefer the rock numbers (except for "Who Says You Can't Go Home" - I'm not a country fan.) My husband only goes to Bon Jovi concerts with me for the rockin' songs and to hear Richie play his guitars live, although he does think Jon has a great voice.

<3 <3 <3 this song, I held up signs for this song a few times but he just dismisses then. I hope they play it in europe.

I agree that they play Always more these days.

After the reaction, maybe he will be inspired to play it more. xxx

I still can't figure out why he doesn't play this one more often.It's their only top 10 hit since 1995.And this is an easy relaxing song to sing anyway.

@WEINBAUER I don't get it myself, the only reason I can think is that when it comes to put a ballad in the setlist, the choice is "Always" most of the times...

@finartemis Actually it's either I'll Be There For You or Bed Of Roses all the time with Never Say Goodbye or Living In Sin once in a blue moon.He struggles with Always so much trying to sing it live and that is why he doesn't do it that much.I know he's trying to do it on this tour,but who knows how long it will last.I mean this song is easy to sing and believe it or not it charted higher than It's My Life.Also this song not being put on the greatest hits cd was a disgrace.

@WEINBAUER yeah it's definitely as you say, lately (since 2008) I heard Always a lot more, honestly I'd rather hear Thank You much more than Never Say Goodbye or Living in Sin! Back in 2006 he tried playing the TLFR version of Always but clearly realized it wasn't a good idea... if he struggles with it, better not sing it at all!! I had no idea that this song had so much success, it feels like they're trying to focus the attention on the pure rock songs rather than the ballads, such a shame!

@finartemis I also wonder if that's why he did Superman Tonight acoustic.Another song that he struggled with a little bit and would love to hear it live again was Welcome To Wherever You Are.How that song wasn't released here is still beyond me.To tell you the truth,he should put some Bounce songs in the live set list as well.Nothing wrong with performing Everyday,Misunderstood and Undivided.

@WEINBAUER I liked the acoustic version of Superman actually,it was a nice change!I'd LOVE to hear Welcome live!He said in an interview that he thought it'd be a hit and the fans didn't like it instead,which is crazy!Bounce would be awesome too,heard those songs back in 2006 and never again,they rock!!In place of We've got it goin' on or Lay your hands on me, for example...

@finartemis I never heard that.I just heard that it wasn't released here as a single.How could someone not like that song,but yet like Who Says You Can't Go Home instead?By the way I am so sick and tired of hearing Lay Your Hands One Me,Lost Highway,We Got It Goin' On,and even Bed Of Roses.If I never hear those songs in concert again,I won't lose a days sleep over it.
