@RickArter are all your thermalake cpu fan connected to fan headers the stuff you connected them too were they...... psu connection or a y splitter cable?
@RickArter I need to know if those are y splitter connectors , and if they are all 4 pin or something. I mainly want to use PWm fans in my case.. my case is a lan boy air yellow... with the thermallake coming with it's fans no need to buy noctua.. which seems a pain to set up and buy fans for to make it run really good. if I want to change fans on this I can and feel comfortable with thermal lake. thermal lake comes with pwm fans. So I can get tri cool fans for the rest of the case.
@RickArter then maybe replace both side fans and top fans with pwm fans and or leave top fans as four pin molex. I may want to leave the top fans as four pin molex with a a three speed switch for top fans, or go with pwm fans, but not sure there is enough fan headers for that, along with four side fans probably needing fan headers, along with rear fan basically.. I want to change the side fans, and the rear fans that comes with my system. I know all can't be PWM , unless I use fan controllr
@RonnieB5555 I do it all the time, and never had a single problem with it. Most of it just for testing fans, because my main rig is running 24/7 so I always have some power ;)
Nice case, CM II?1 it deserves those gr8 fans

I didn't know that you can unplug and plug in fans whilst the PC is powered on, can you do this with fan headers on the motherboard as well?
