  • how are you even a real person

  • I hate tea too which is why I drink black coffee! :D

  • In regards to teas, I hope that you will set the flower teas aside and offer us a review of green teas, barley teas, ginseng teas and dark teas. Catachins, however, are where the research and promotion is being done in Japan... Oh Susan, I just dream of the day that I can see you promoting Eat Breath Think and Move in Japan. I tell my language students about you.I hope some of them have found you. Japanese love Billy. They would absolutely love you. I am so happy you are into tea

  • so honey is okay to take?? is it bad for your teeth because my 7 month old likes a little on his pacifier when he goes to sleep. is this bad???

    Love mel

  • YES it is BAD for a 7 month old. Honey should not be fed to infants under one year of age because of the risk of infant botulism. In the United States, most honey products are labeled to indicate this, although the reason why is not spelled out, which confuses some people. Infants should not be fed any honey products, including baked goods with honey in them. Infant botulism is a type of food poisoning that can result in death.

  • oh my god, I still don't understand what botulism is. I hope I can get my husband to stop too. is there something I can give him as an alternative?

thank you for this I feel sick to my stomach but thank you for letting me know

  • From Wikipedia: "Botulism is a rare but serious paralytic illness caused by botulinum toxin, which is produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. The paralysis typically starts with the muscles of the face and then spreads towards the limbs. In severe cases, it leads to paralysis of the breathing muscles and causes respiratory failure. All suspected cases of botulism are treated as medical emergencies."

  • It would be best to give him a dry pacifier and take sugary substances out of his diet. Besides honey and botulism, sugar just has no good place in a child's diet.

  • my husband says that botulism mostly happens in third world countries where the honey can be contaminated with bacteria

  • You also may be setting your son up for a sugar addiction by exposing him to intense sweetness during his formative years. Sugar is an addictive substance. I've read that children will naturally choose healthy foods and eat a balanced diet UNLESS they are offered sugar. It would be best if you stopped giving him sugar of any kind. But especially in conjunction with something as psychologically loaded as suckling on a pacifier. This has the potential to be very damaging mentally and physically.

  • Susa, you are the only person I know who could talk about tea for three minutes and keep me captivated. And wanting a big ol' cup of tea. lol You rock!

  • Don't take this wrong, but I find you so damn alluring

  • lol:)
