you can say jkd is mma but jkd main bases are wing chun, and i believe when i watch UFC i seen none of the characteristics of that, then again bruce lee said use whats useful and reject thats not useful , and put into your own, not a japanese way or a chinese but using no way as the way

@striding7cloud JKD is not a style, Bruce said. He didn't believed in styles. Doesn't matter if you are a Karate fighter, Muay Thai fighter, etc. The way Bruce develop to fight was good for him, in his own characteristics. The style must fit to the fighter. A fast and small fighter will not fight the same way than a big and strong fighter, even if they train the same "style", for example.
