@cathygarrick did you listen to the child the judge wasnt listening about the abuse he needed a way for them to listen i know it wasnt right but whats better being sexually abused or not.

"Gypsy life?" What the crap Dateline? I know it's not intended to be offensive, but this kinda of inaccurate description feeds into antizitganist stereotyping.

@godsfiddler - you are right about the docu's about this. Kids are engaging in sex games and "sex-ting" as young as 12 years' old. It doesn't make it right but it does show that they can know enough to make up a story. Kids that young - even younger - can be malicious & vindictive - make up a story to get back at a teacher or parent or friend. Every accusation s/b taken seriously but also investigated carefully to make sure it is based on fact. They can also be coached.

@mexikat I couldn't agree with you more! I hav a family member who was sent to prison for a lie being told on him! After 2 years the kid admitted the truth and said her dad had her make the story up! there are innocent people in prison because of lies! once again great comment! Lets convict on evidence and facts

Her son told her the first time, and she had sent him back to his father. The little boy has told her the first time, and she ignored it, and sent him back. As far as the courts are concerned theyre nots for sending him to be sent back to be abused. HE DIDNT MAKE UP THE ABUSE. What evidence is there when a boy is raped? LITTLE ONES DONT LIE ABOUT THIS!! THE COURST WERE WRONG. SHE HAD NO CHOICE.

Actually, there have been documentaries done. Kids hear so much about this stuff, that yes, they do exaggerate and lie at times, although this may or may not be the case here. He probably was abused, but there have been cases where kids made this stuff up. This past summer we had a case in our area where three girls accused a 20 yr old guy of molesting them. Turned out they told three different stories, and he, told the same story from the start. That he didn't touch them on that bus.
