whether or not the killers suck is a matter of opinion, of course; and yes, if you measure success in number of albums they've released under a major label, and the number of annoying catchy hit songs they've released, fine, they're more successful than against me. However, success shouldn't be measured that way, and if any of you knew the first thing about music, you'd notice that the killers are a bunch of talentless pretty boys who somehow got famous, and aren't even worth a second glance.

I know for a fact that Triple J (yes, I know, Australia but whatever) plays a ton of NOFX, and if that isn't punk, I don't know what is.

To say no punk ever plays on the radio and that all alternative rock is bad is just a demonstration of either ignorance or elitism.

There are lots of great past/present alt rock bands (Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr., Nirvana, Soundgarden) out there.
