To address a commercial from Patients United Now, claiming Canadian discontent towards our health care system. I am from Toronto Ontario, and my postal code is M1J 1C4. I was critically as a child and if it wasn't for well recognized health services (Sick Kids Hospital & St. Michaels) plus our government funded coverage, I would have surely not survived. I can attest to government funded health care and can bet my life, millions of other Canadians can do the same
Yes please read the bill and when you get through reading that one start on the 650 billion dollar defense bill and lets see just how much the "miltary industrial complex" is ripping off the US taxpayers. The 110 billion year thats going into toilet Iraq could be used on healthcare in the US. Lets see thats about what they say we can't afford here a year for healthcare. Go figure

Congresspeople have large staffs who prepare summaries of bills for them. That is how all bills get passed in American democracy. I would bet that there is no significant bill in the last 100 years that every congressperson has read completely.

By 2017 Social Sec will be paying out more than it is taking in. Social Sec will be Officially bankrupt by 2042. I will be 78 years old.
