  • Some rural villagers in my country are still use this gun for hunting wild animals, and some military shooting range is still using this gun to let the tourist shoot. I love the feeling of it. way better than HK33. :D

  • Beautiful specimen. I'm jealous.

  • słyszałem strzały hehehe XD

  • My grandpa just bought a k98k made in 1937. Only bad thing is that the bolt is not matching.

  • No boom? :(

  • Whreres the bolt?

  • a pictures worth 1000 words, this video is worth 2. shoot it.

  • i prefer the lee enfield in cod 2 :D or the sopded mosin :D:D.

  • I just noticed. Of coarse he's not gonna shoot the gun!!! There's no bolt there!!!!

  • Damn... Why he dont do the most cool part? Reloading a gun?

  • which is better the mauser or the mosin nagant?

  • @nunvikingsofthesea My personal choice: K98!

  • @nunvikingsofthesea - The M1 Garand was a much better combat rifle than either of them.

  • @JohnQuincyAdams1 yes it was a modern rifle at that time, the k98 was 40 years older!

  • @JohnQuincyAdams1 just different, most modern bolt actions derive from the 98 model. If you go for precision over rate of fire the k 98 was way better. Rate of fire can make the difference though. But so much is sure, the k 98 can not be held responsible for Germanys defeat in WWII

  • wasnt this the kar98k not the mauser 98k

  • I want to get back my precious 22 seconds!

  • Comment removed

  • man u definitely should have give us a shoot. im disappointed.

  • Jeepers, not even the bolt installed in the rifle!

  • @BassKick2010 jep...and now i will play mw3...

  • is dat sum yugo mauser foodz?

  • One of the best weapons on earth. I <3 it!

  • it would have been better if u had talked and fired the gun just a little hint that was like 21 secs of my life just wasted on stuff i already know

  • idiot, dont talk, shoot!

  • why the hell you just held the on the rifle it was porn??

  • mount the camera and shoot the rifle you f**king nob

  • BOOOORING

  • Nah it was ttly used by the WHURRMAT.

  • i hate americans say Wehrmacht

  • @MrRanger654 why

  • @jamestuc80 just sound a little bit strange with german accent in U.S language

  • by the Wehrmacht hahahaha :D

  • Short vid:-(

  • It was also the first year of fail

  • just fire the goddammit rifle

  • who else noticed he was missing a bolt.

  • im not sure but i think actully the kar98k or mauser was adopted by the german military in 1898 and it was standerd issue to every german solider until after world war 2

  • @nckdrsckle1234 The GEW98 is what your thinking of, the K98k is a shortened and upgraded version of the GEW 98, hence why so many parts are interchangeable

  • Nothing in WW2 were a close match against the M1 Gerand.

  • @2010THEDRAGON haha so big bullshit watch the sturmgewehr 44!

  • @2010THEDRAGON

    sturmgewerh 44

    ppsh

    svt.

    mp 40, even the mp-18

so, please get your ass back to cod, or what ever

    btw, its garand not gerand

  • @MrGerardnl , EXCUSE ME !!! for misspelling the legendary M1 Garand. I'm sorry but in a fire fight in the wood I'll take an M1 "GARAND" over any of the above you had mention.

  • @2010THEDRAGON The MP44 was better

  • @Pr0pagandaFilms , Its your opinion, but I'll take an M1 Garand any day of the week.

  • I know something you can do with one hand

  • Comment removed

  • @Insurgent999 - Are you aware that your YouTube account an be terminated for making such sick, nasty, racist comments? Well now you do know!

  • @JohnQuincyAdams1 didnt think of it now you say it i delete it

  • punaise il a du couter bombon

  • This vid was all too short. A teaser ?

  • I WANT GUN FIRE!!!!

  • i liked the part when he was holding the gun

  • S/42 K is the first year, 1934. I own two.

  • Do a barrel roll!

  • the bolt is the same , the ammo is the same , so in name they are different

one is shorter , different rear and front sight , gawehr is more accurate if you can see well with the iron sights

so it is a newer model with newer features ,

  • The rifle was begging to be fired. what an ass

  • Beautiful rifle but shoot the damn thing!

  • @Hensme223 No, the Kar98k, was only used in world war two, like he says in the video, it was adopted in 1935. The rifle used in the first world war was primarily the Gewehr 98, which is different in appearance.

  • @TaZ101SAGA dude Gewehr 98 is the k98k, There both the mauser 98

  • Dude set the camera down, THEN FIRE IT.

  • I've fired one of these...... awesome rifle

  • Thumbs up if you thought he was going to fire the gun in this video.

  • @hardcharging No, because there's no bolt in the rifle, so he can't.

  • @TaZ101SAGA Well yeah we can see that once we open up the link, but the icon picture makes it hard to tell if a bolt's there or if it's missing unless you know it's there already or not.

  • @hardcharging he then says"i guess that's it".............

  • @hardcharging so he's not going to? *pause video and quit*

  • i know something i can do with one hand :D

  • Whats with all the dislikes on here? K98s were excellent rifles, rugged, reliable, powerful, and accurate....

  • LOAD THE DAMN THING!!!

  • Hmmm, isn't K98 used in WW1?

  • @DragonSkin342 No, Gewehr 98 was.

  • @DragonSkin342 it's both don't listen to that other retard the Gewehr is th k98k

  • @liamr821 I'm sorry, but you are wrong. The Gewehr 98 and Kar98K were not in service at the same time. The Gewehr 98 is a full length rifle, with more complicated rear sights and a straight bolt handle. The Kar98k (The K stands for 'Kurtz' meaning 'short' in German) is a carbine length rifle with a bent bolt handle and simplified rear sights. So although they are both derivatives of the 1898 model Mauser, the Gewehr 98 and Kar98k are not the exact same rifles.

  • Most pointless video with 500k views ever.

  • im eating cake icing.

  • Are you going to shoot it or just hold it? :(

  • Nice. i love the 98k. but i love all guns from wwii :D

  • @mathiask1 hahaha me too

  • why does nearly every american have one of our rifles and I as a German have none?

  • @gunnar6969 ...because they don't want you starting another war!, :P ahh I'm just teasin' I think it's because Americans really like guns LOL

  • @gunnar6969 I went to a machine gun shoot here in the states a few years ago and everybody was waiting in line to shoot the german weapons very impressive Guns you Germans "made and make" serious knockdown power and fairly simple to shoot...

  • @gunnar6969 Mate your not alone in your frustration. It’s the same with the British ww2 guns. Very rare to see them in the UK. But every yank seems to have one or two.

  • @tina6581 Move to the USA and make friends with us former colonials dude!

  • @SpencerAK74M I dint think I could live in the US. I don’t have anything against the country but I cant stand the beer and you don’t play cricket.:-). Only joking mate I know one or two Americans and get on nuts with them. If you don’t mined me asking you have your occupation as a Bin Monkey. Enlighten me please, what is a bin monkey? We have grease monkey and used to have timber monkeys and monkey trucks. But bin monkey is a new one on me.

  • @tina6581 You're right, our beer generally does suck, it gets hard to find a really good lager in a lot of places here :( Bin Monkey is an inside joke in my agency, I work for the US Government....

  • @SpencerAK74M Cool mate thanks. :-)

  • What type of cal. does it take?

  • @airsoft7972 8mm (7.92) (.323 Cal)

Bullet is 8mm JS mauser or 7.92x57mm JS mauser

  • Real nice S/42, take care of it.

  • his voice sounds like the guy off apocalypse now when they call in the napalm strike

  • Wow, 1935 and all matching! Quite a valuable rifle. I got a 1942 Russian capture, so it's all mismatched, however I bought a front sight hood and cleaning rod from Germany so it looks perfect until you see all the different serials lol Great, accurate rifles with an amazingly slick stripper clip system. Can't work the bolt as fast as an Enfield bolt but that doesn't mean it's a slow rifle :) Gotta love history!

  • gut!!

  • k98 isued in 1935 ? they even used it in ww1...

  • @dutchforces

No, that was the Gewehr 98, not the Karabiner 98...

  • "I think that's it?!"... that was bullshit man! xD

  • there is no bolt in the rifle?

  • HOW MUCH DID IT COST?

  • @hupper1234567 I hear about k98's costing about $300. Mosin Nagant's are around the same price too.

  • @Account0997 i got my mosin nagant for 112$

  • @Account0997 hey is your account real?

  • @hupper1234567 It's not a youtube account, it's my gmail account - hence as I did not create a youtube username, I was assighned some random name by Google.

  • @Account0997 oh thats weird

  • please people... this video's about gun: kar98.

NOT a discussion about country superiority.

Stop trollin' cock hard or gtfo.

  • :,( why didn't you shoot it noooooooo i guess i'll just look at SOMEONE ELSE'S VIDEO --- DISLIKED

  • the whole video it thought "SHOOT !!! SHOOT !!! SHOOT !!!"

  • mauser´in güzelmis lan

  • funny thing... everybody is dissing that this is outdated and powerless gun.

IT CAN STILL FUCKING KILL YOU WITH ONE SHOT!!!

  • @Warhamer116 yeah, most people forget it even fires a bigger round than other rifles.

  • Manly voice and manly gun

  • nice sleeve =P

  • would you know how much a 1916 ww1 lugar serial number 918 would be worth?it is in very good condition but has some pitting

  • Sweet rifle, is there a video of you shooting it or do you only use it as a "mantlepiece gun"?

  • i want one of those when i get biger $

  • I just keep wondering what other things you can't do with one hand :) cheers

  • Scheiss Amis! Ihr werdet unsere Waffentechnik nie erreichen NIE! Hört auf unsere Waffen zu stehlen und zu kopieren!

  • hey dude wtf? ak 47 and stg44 are nothing alike really dude? they look the same so they are alike? their internals are completley different they are NOTHING alike the STG 44 is more related to the SKS carbine

  • @MarineCorpSniper6303 omg thts what i say to evry one. the AK and the stg may look the same, i dont think they look tht alike personally, but anyways the StG operates from a tilting bolt, tooken ffrom the G41, which was taken from the russians SVT-38, and the AK-47 has a 2 lug rotating bolt. yes dumbass's i know the gas piston doesnt rotate, but the bolt rotates when cycling to extract the empty cartridges. oh and by the way, I wasnt calling u a dumbass, i was calling any 1 else tht may read a D

  • why Americans are so crazy to Nazis??very sik people

  • I can't see the bolt?

  • Err...a German Mauser that is. Not a Yugo or anything else!

  • This is my dream gun. I'd pay a hefty sum to get a Mauser 98K with matching serial numbers. Do you think a gunshow is my only potential place to find one?

  • @Angelsweep You could ask the MOD. Thay have thousednds of them that the Germans gave them. I know i have seen them. :-)

  • @tina6581 The MOD? What is that exactly?

  • Come on, come on! LOAD THE GUN ALREADY!

  • everyone is a critic on the web... sigh...

  • now why in the world you had to do it on video? I mean a single frame and 4 rows of text.

  • see people, THAT is a clip. a magazine holds all the bullets and is put into a gun. a clip just holds the bullets so you can easily slide them down into the gun.

  • very nice

  • I thought it was pronounced Maw-Zer

  • @X9000BulletsX The Germans actually pronounce it, Mow-Zer/Zur, Like Mow just like Meow, without the E. But Maw-Zer, is guess how we Americans say it.

  • that is huge amunition

  • just look on wikipedia if you want to know something about anything and plz dont watch this video!

  • @imamthecoolest ...what?

  • wered u get that jacket

  • How much did you pay for that?

  • this gun is for Jews and gypsy's

  • @imamthecoolest

is that why you're watching this then?

i bet you want one so bad but you're not showing it!

  • his try to say Wehrmacht XD

  • boring

  • weak not one hand

  • why do you have no bolt in it ?

  • most ppl call it a 8mm wen in all correction its offical caliber is a 7.92x57 mm cartridge

  • how much did you pay for this

  • @20000qP calm down

  • Everytime I think of the Mauser, I blow my load. Which is nearly every day. It's such a wonderfull weapon.

  • I guess that's it!!!!!

  • lol thats amazing *SARCASTIC*

    U are cool cause you talk bout a gun * -_-" *

  • was up the range with a mauser last week and a few mosin nagant 1 with the PU 3.5 optics

  • German technology can't be beat, or can it... get to the chopper.

  • This guy sounds like the Military channel narrator

  • @SenatorGrimshaw He sounds like a pilot.

  • @carnivor9595

    lol

  • @carnivor9595

hope you had a pleasant flight LOL

  • @carnivor9595 Yeah, the voice and the repetitive "uh" word lol.

  • Really cool gun!I love it!Awesome vid!

  • but i know what you can do with one hand..... ¤_¤ ©

  • armour piercing rounds rite?
