@hrhockey whats this yellow light of death thing, my cousin told me bout it the other day when i said that, because its got more backwards compatability with ps2 games than other gbs, i was gettin a 6ogb ps3 (i know right, but the rock ive been living under is so boring at night, so ithought it was bout time i invested in one) and i wasnt sure wether to believe her not. if it is true, it kinda sucks cuz sony rocks, and i hope theres a version of the ps3 that doesnt get it?

@D0S81 The Yellow light of death is kinda like the red ring of death for xbox. their is not one specific reason for it but it usually is attributed to the mother board breaking down from heat. it can sometimes be fixed. I dont think that a backwords compatible system is any worse than a brand new one they all are able to get it. BTW don't bother calling sony if it does happen because all they will do is say its not there fault and well fix it for 150 just as well by a used one online its faster

I still have ico but it was scratched because I kept it in a spring loaded CD case which caused the disc to dislocate during the CD tray launching, which ultimately scratched my ICO CD beyond playability... When i heard this coming, it felt like the developers read my mind and provided my dream.

i think these games, as well as okami, the mgs series, and the final fantasy series, showed what the ps2 was really capable of, i think they retired the ps2 way too soon, the ps1 had 10yrs b4 the ps2 came out, but the ps2 only got 5yrs b4 the ps3, i reckon they could still make some awsome games for it. besides, the graphics on the wii are about the same, if not worse, than the ps2, so why not eh. i hope they give the ps3 at least 10yrs b4 they bring out a ps4 regardless of the competition.

@sunset261 true, must admit, u used to get a lot of graphic slip. i still play mgs 3 now n again (which is gonna look awsome on 3ds, class little machine that, cant wait till 3dtv's do the same) and there's a canny bit of graphic slip on some of the larger areas. do you get alot of graphic slip with Sotc too? (i STILL have'nt had the chance to play that yet, even after all these years)
