  • We have all that to look forward to I suppose. Right now our 7 mo old fur ball female Yorkie looks OK.

  • Is the 3 an 3 quarters you mention the size in inches or centimeters?

  • I've been a groomer for 3 years and am always looking for different techniques. I just came across your video's. Thank you so much for sharing!

  • I want a puppy cut look around his cheeks and nose area instead of long blended sides. A poof rounded type look for lack of better description. I don't what direction to cut, etc. Kind of like the scalped Yorkie, 'Yorkshire Terrier, cut his face' video under your Westie groom part 1, but a bit longer? That poor dog got scalped. My clip ons tell me how much hair will be left when using by inches. Can you tell me which direction to cut or if it's a scissored cut blended with the thinning shear?

  • I lie your videos thank you for sharing!

What clipper set, if any do you think is best for beginners?

I have one boy yorkie and two girl cocker-poos. time to start grooming at home lol

  • The Best! Yorkie grooming video ever! And I have watched about 5 in a row

  • Thanks for that!

  • very helpful!

  • This one showed the part I needed to know about the face and bottom of beard.

    Nicely done!

    Thank you!

Still want to know what size you used for the top of the head going back and behind ears. I have inch sizes.

  • How many teeth does your blending shear have, 30 or 46? Also, what would you recommend to buy for grooming shears, I have a 20 tooth thinning shear but find it's a little to much for the thin coated dogs. I think I need to buy one with more teeth. What would you recommend?

  • @mykeee I am pretty sure mine are 42 tooth but the more the better in my opinion... the less blunt the cut. ;)

  • Isn't that a silky terrier?

  • @unoiamacutie Nope... It's a Yorkie. Silkies look much different. ;)

  • what scissors do you use??

  • @alexjeannie I use Heritage 8" curves. :) they are inexpensive and durable.

  • Great video. Thanks for being so informative and gentle with the dog. You obviously care about the pet!

  • So funny what he does with his tongue lol

    so cuteee !!!

    Where are you located ??

  • @dianys2984 Spfld MO

  • it looks like a bull-dog....

  • Very helpful however I would have like to been able to see well! Next time please have setup not in front of a window or close window blinds so camera isnt primarily focused on the light. Have lighting pointed at what is being videoed so we can see the detailed work. Have flood light next to camera pointed at the dog. Thanks so much for your video.

  • @CLbrowny Don't have any lighting and yes my camera is moved now. ;) Thanks for your comment.

  • Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for posting these videos. We just adopted a 4 yr old Yorkie & she Hates being groomed (I'm not sure she was often groomed before). She wiggles like crazy. I usually take her to have her groomed properly, but I like to trim her face in between visits. This video was so helpful.

  • I love this video. I've watched it many times trying to learn how to groom my Yorkie. I have a Andis clipper, what size blade is best to use on the body?
