  • I dont trust anything that humans do they are all corrupt. You are not accepted in churches today unless you conform to this world. Which means you must bow your knee to Satan to be accepted and be somebody. Wide is the gate to destruction narrow is the gate to heaven and FEW who find it.

  • Reason can not be placed above the Scriptures. And yet, if there is no reason, no Holy Spirit enlightened reason, then there is no reasoning by which we reckon the scriptures to be insurmountable. "Reason" alone, is not enough. Worldly reckoning- if this is what is meant by "reason," then yes. Scripture comes above. But God promises that our minds will be renewed. Reasoning is a faculty of the mind. Thus we can have enlightened reasoning that allows us to see the value of the scriptures.

  • BTW, if you select the CC on this video and many other videos on Christianity you will see the closed captions are not truley accurate and even dangerously error filled....too sad huh??? The folks who rely upon them are not getting the true message. =(

  • i sin, i know it's wrong but i do. many ppl have premarital sex. and it says u go to hell for it. just like those who bully people and spread hate, do not feel guilty, yet they are close with who they think God is. so we are both going to hell, bc the bible says so. even though i know i sin, and i spread love, and they are not sorry for their sins, and spread hate. sucks

  • @Rachulie Actually, can you find me a verse in the Bible that says people are going to hell for premarital sex? And you know something, many people who sin think that's where the story ends. I sin, so I messed up. God couldn't care less about me. Away to hell I go. It's not true. "While we were all still sinners, Christ died- for the ungodly." And "God has turned all people over to sin- so He can have mercy on them all." Sin is not the end. It's the start. What you decide next matters most!

  • @Rachulie when Jesus gave his Sermon on the Mount the one thing that he made quite clear through it is the reality of the sinfulness that resides in all of us. the gospel of Jesus Christ removes any hope in any man in himself being able to make himself acceptable before God who is perfect in holiness and righteousness. as Jesus himself declared, "I didn't come to save the righteous (that is those who think in themselves to be righteous-for there are none who are), but to save sinners"

  • @Rachulie when Jesus came all the truth about who we are was magnified against Jesus himself. we often will compare ourselves to one another with such aphorisms of "i'm  not as bad as so-and-so". but the real standard is Jesus himself; against whom all of us are made to see how far we truly fall from the perfection that is demanded of God to find acceptance with God. we won't be judged by what so-and-so did. we will be judge against the perfect standard that is Jesus Christ himself.

  • @Rachulie any man who is honest in himself that with Jesus as the only acceptable standard before God, will find in himself no hope whatsoever of ever being acceptable before God. That is the judgment of God! But here is the good news-the gospel of God: all who will come unto the Lord Jesus Christ, who will seek his face, who will cry unto him for mercy, in sincerity and truth and in faith, they shall not be disappointed, they shall not be ashamed. For Jesus who cannot lie declares:

    For our hope, our only hope is in the mercy that is to be found in Jesus Christ, who by the power given to him of the Father, does through his death on the cross, does take their sin and crucify them with him on that cross, and gives them his righteousness, by which they might be made acceptable with God.

    Those who are born of God, born of the Spirit, born of the blood of Jesus Christ, are such that can no longer continue to enjoy the sins that once we so easily enjoined ourselves. when we fall into sin, it no longer has the pleasure it once did; but is only now met with shame, when we know how..

  • @Rachulie ..when we know how it displeases the one who loved us before we loved him. that our love for Christ, as it grows, will cause all the things of this world to lose their savor, and all we will know, or want to know is that which is of the Lord, which alone does satisfy the soul. Jesus truly becomes that living water, for which no other water can satisfy our thirst. others may take pleasure in their sins:

  • @Rachulie but the child of God, though he does still sin while he is in this body of flesh, will find no pleasure in that sin which still is present in his flesh which wages war against his soul. But as Paul declared in his woefulness of being delivered from the body of this death that was in him waging war against him:

    I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. Romans 7:25

  • So God put Adam and Eve in the garden...hung a carrot in front of their noses. Created a hell to burn people without end...All this for his glory. Hmmm. Guilty by association. Would never hold up in courts (of justice). Don't get it...does not make sense.

  • @GraceVideoTreasures Your verse implies that you were/are saved verses being saved. (Calvinism vrs. Arminianism). So it is apparent that you fall under the Calvinistic Theological Matrix. How does one no if they are the elect or the damned.

  • @1tothemorning If God has opened your eyes, and given you a mind to seek out salvation with all your heart, and to be saved by Christ then you can be pretty sure that you are among the elect.  If on the other hand your attitude is to resign yourself to fate because you can't help your own salvation then it's a pretty sure sign that you are not among the elect.

  • @1tothemorning We know it by the power of the Spirit who lives in us. And that's not meant to be cheesey. There is a real power, a real change in life that comes through no simple self-discipline of our own making. Our lives change. Once again- no cheese intended. We can not attribute it to anything we have done alone in our own power.

  • @1tothemorning "I do not take delight in the death of anyone." So instead of getting stuck at the starting block and hating a God who has absolutely immovable standards, understand what it is that God's mercy triumphs, and fills the universe.

  • The Bible explains how we deserve to die because we can never reach the righteousness, perfection and sinlessness of God, but is it it even possible for us to reach such a height? Was it ever possible? I mean we're flawed by nature, selfishness is basically a by-product of our evolution through natural selection and interspecific competition. So what was the point in God even creating us if we are doomed, and always have been, simply by nature... Can anyone explain this to me?

  • @TullySaranLawd Our nature changed when we set God's enemy, Satan, to have the rule over us by choosing to obey him rather than the commandment of God.

    We can never repair the damage done, but God has chosen to suffer the punishment due to our fallen nature, so we no longer have to suffer the punishment for what we have allowed ourselves to become, which is damnation.

    All we have to do is believe that God has done this for us in Christ and we are saved.

    That's True Christianity.

  • @GraceVideoTreasures And our change in nature lead to a natural tendencey towards evil that damns us all (orginal sin), am i right? So initially it were possible for us to be perfect beings, but by our free will we chose against God, something He must not have foresaw. Which is confusing in itself as God is all-knowing. Did God not know we would choose satan over Him?

  • @TullySaranLawd He sure did know that it would happen. God wants to demonstrate to the entire Universe the consequences of defying his government, but at the same time create a revelation of his mercy.

    He created everything for himself, and he suffered the punishment for our rebellion in himself.

  • What's hilarious about all that haters who attempt to deny God and Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit is that I've never met a single one of them who can effectively use science to substantiate the hypothesis of their faith. Atheists often purport to have science on their side in being able to prove that there is no God, that there was no Jesus the Christ and that there is no Holy Spirit yet I'm still waiting for a single one to step forward and debate the facts.
