  • Tres bien!! ^-^ i rlly love the movie and Christine is my fav :3

  • The phantom is her music teacher

  • @1AdrianR I wanna c the stage show! It would b sooo cool!

  • I saw the show on Broadway May 21 and was infinitely better than the movie. The Phantom, Hugh Panaro, was far far far better than Gerard Butler, as all stage Phantoms are, and Sara Jean Ford was a perfect Christine. All singers were far superior to these. In order to fully enjoy the Phantom one must see the stage show.

  • I have the DVD, but the great thing about YouTube is that all of humanity (potentially) can watch a single clip together and agree on how awesome it is ... except 3 people.

  • I love this song i just saw the north (appleton WI) prefomans it was good!

  • Her voice is so pure and beautiful--it just blows you away when you first hear it. :)

I do think, though, that they made a poor decision on her makeup in this scene. She looks washed out, with that wimpy blue eye shadow and feeble gloss. Everybody who does stage performances knows that's NOT what you wear. Her whole face looks like a white blur.

  • I LOVE HER VOICE!!!!

    IT IS WONERFUL!!!!

    SHE IS AMAZING!!

  • I love her voice!

  • Think of me fondly ; <3

  • fell in love with this song first time i saw/heard this!<3 i love the phantom of the opera!

  • BRAVISSIMO!!!!! KRISTINA DAE. Raul....& Fantom

is very beautiful history of love!!!!

  • I will never forget the night I sat in the theatre, enjoying such beautiful musical and the graceful voices from heaven

  • Thank you, Madame Giry ... for Erik.

  • @DarkEyeHope ...Sorry Mademuasel Kristina Dae.& Raul romance Gaston Leroux greetest franch writer

  • I was pretty impressed with Madame Giry, and how she suggested that Christine could sing the song instead of Carlotta ( who souned terrible ! ).

I can imagine Erik's pride as he listened to her that night.

  • yes, very beautiful song

  • very beautiful song and was liked so much that I learned it =)

  • the last lyrics are off...

  • she's not sarah brightman, but she has a sweetness and purity of tone that makes her perfect for the part. :)

  • i think this song, masqurade and phantom of the opera are one of the most remambered songs. the first time i watched it those were the songs that got stuck in my head for months.

  • she'S one the most beautiful girl in the world =3

  • she is such a beautiful singer

  • man!! this is great!! we were supposed to have a play like this in our school..

    miss those times.

i love this movie!! specially this song!!

  • so beautiful and wonderful!!...*.*

  • you missed some of the lyrics... but nonetheless this IS the most amazing voice i've ever heard

  • i LOVE this song and now its stuck in my head! ( :

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!

it keeps getting stuck in my head!!! =P

  • Such a beautiful voice. I was really really amazed when I heard the song for the very first time.

  • she was only 16 when the film was made. shes amazing!

  • she was 18:|she's born in 86

  • Turned 18 during filming, actually.

  • @FlyingPig36 She was actually eighteen...they had to wait so that she could kiss the Phantom without it being illegal :x

  • the lyrics are so messed up towards tha end

  • Wonderful! Bravo!! Trej jole!!! ENCORE!!!!

Christine is simply beautiful with her voice!! I love Phantom of the Opera!

  • 1:49,

    stop and TINK of mee!

    HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAA.

  • she says anD Think, it sounds like tink though, very funny when u listen to it that way hahaha

  • that's what you're supposed to do when singing... :D

  • what?

  • haha whoa i heard that

  • does anybody stop back and appreciate the fact she's ONLY22 currently!!!!

this is brilliance and idk how old she was in the movie but her voice is still developing and thus far she produces this much talent.

    wonderful:)

  • i love this song

in this scene she reminds me a bit of sisi because she has those stars in her hair and the way she's dressed..

she sings really great, i can sing, but not that high, wish i could..

and she doesn't have gum in her mouth xD

  • you people are idiots.

she obviously has no gum in her mouth.

  • i like the ahahahahahaahahhahahHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Okay, but just saying, who's in the movie, you, or Emmy Rossum? So think again before you post another comment like that.

  • mhm well if you can ACTUALLY sing that good then you'll do great in the future.

  • please dont try to say shes not good

cause none of you could do that

    its amazing!

  • she's an amazing singer, love love love the song although i dont know much about how to sing, and as for the gum thing, i looked at it full screen a few times and at first i thought it was gum then i saw it was her teeth glittering from the saliva and the light hitting against it, really.

  • Hey really guys that was so mean!! :( She DOES not have gum in her mouth EITHER so shut up about that...and I think she sings WONDERFULLY!!! Why did u even WATCH it u @#$*(& if u hate her singing so much, huh??! I thought so. X-P!

  • lol

  • then you must be a bad preformer and a singer if you sing with gum in your mouth

  • lol I guess that means she is a bad performer to because at 3:53-3:57 mins into this vid she has purple or blue gum in her upper left part of her mouth or to the right from the way we are looking at it go ahead go check it out...now u must chew back on your own words...lol!

  • It's not actually gum, and besides, gum helps open up your throat and you can sing better, if it was gum, then it would be mint..

  • Gum doesn't make you sing better. It tightens up the jaw muscles, which actually makes it harder.

  • although i have always found singing this after gum is easier... i can see how it would make it harder

  • YEAH!

    it really does!!

it relieves the nerves but then

    your jaw gets all tight

    and its harder.

    -.-

    i learned the hard way.

  • The "gum" is her teeth btw :)

but i dont like her much... she's not really that good...

  • its the best song of this movieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • It doesn't look like gum.. ?

    I love thissss , xo

  • i know i thought so too.... maybe its just the lighting in the movie that makes it look that way?......

  • that gum thing is so funny, anway i love this song!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I've been very fond of The Phantom of the Opera scince i was very young.

  • my drama teacher woulda shot me if i had gum on stage.

  • okay, so did anyone notice that like 3 minutes and 50 seconds or so when shes doin the crazy ahhhh thing she has bright blue gum?!?!? WTF?!?!?! they did not have bright blue gum back then in europe!! INSANITY!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! HOW DID NO ONE CATCH THAT?!?!?!!? :-P

  • I think it's just her teeth. xD

  • ...no she doesn't... .-.

  • There's nothing there. I have no clue where the heck you saw blue gum, but for all I know you could need glasses. Or sedatives.

  • No that is just her teeth.

  • Thanks <3

  • beautifull<3
