@lexlazootin The shorter the shorter the segments, the less chance of cocking up. If you had say, 5 segments of 10 minutes each, you could balls up at 9 minutes and have to do it all again. If you have 10 segments of 5 minutes each there is less chance of something going wrong and wasting a lot of time redoing that part.

I am very sure that runners have played the game before attempting a speed run. So there is no fun taken out of it. By doing a speed run, they are trying to show their skill at video games. It's also VERY interesting to see someone complete this game in as little as 43 parts.

The WHOLE Wii game is mirrored for right handed people for use with wii mote. And you can't jump off the back of the horse on the wii unless your near enemies.

The gamecube version came out before Wii, also, Link is left handed - in TP he's right handed so it IS the Wii that is mirrored.

in the gametrailer review for this game, they said that in the beginning, it's sometimes hard to understand what you're supposed to do, while showing how link shoots the hawk towards the cat. í'm pretty sure everyone who played the game did that :D

It was so that, for the majority of right-handed people, you'd be wielding the sword with the right hand, since Link is a lefty. It's a pretty silly concept, but there it is.

Technically, the GC vesion is the right way round. The Wii is the mirrored one.

They are similar in some aspects, however in my opinion OoT is more challenging than this. TP seemed a little too easy, I would have liked some harder challenges to it, but otherwise it's a great game.
