@GamerandMovieVault I've no clue what "street fighter" is, but I do know that the major influence for this animatic was actually anime fight scenes, which is particularly evident from 1:04 - 1:10.

@Daniel8bit Firstly, the name "street Fighter" is foreign to me; I've simply never heard of it (I've lived something of a sheletered life). I have, however, seen the occassional anime, and know the stereotype to an extent.

Secondly, the commentary to this scene said it was done in an anime style.

@bigbangblader8 Pre-visualization. It's basically the next step after stroyboards, where they set up a mock animation of the imagined scene to get an idea of how it will play out on camera.

@RFphoenix008 I wanted to, but there wasn't really a good place for it. The epic music to which you refer is about 45 seconds long, and there's no part of this animatic that 45 seconds of Optimus just beating the scrap out of the 'Cons. That music needed him to be outright WINNING, and that didn't happen for long enough in this animatic.

Besides, it sounded just plain wrong when Prime was ripping Grindor's head apart.

this is great, i think that its really cool how they kept a lot of the original concepts, i also remember thinking that i knew there would be a second one and it could be caused by the overpowering of megatrons spark turning him into galvatron!

but yh this is really cool, if theres anymore please upload :)
