Wow, thanks to the gravel which is steel the best way to stop a car even if that means stopping race for a missed corner. What would have happened on a modern circuit with only different concrete types... prefer don't imagine.

mate just to let you know i was working 10.5 the flag point to the left of the wreck at the bathurst 12 hour in february and all the walls around there have been covered with tires

the reason there was no tyre barriers was so that the emergency vehicles could get out easier. they wouldnt have had to go out if the tyres were there in the first place though lol

Nothing has been announced but the injury will have a significant recovery time, plus he broke his ankle in the '06 race so teams probably wont be lining up to secure him next year.
