XD! I guess Bluish gray. So both. *shrugs* That's how the people who study lighting for animating characters do it to contrast the color details from the background. For example, some rats in the film are purplish gray, maroon gray, or tan. That way it contrasts on fur color for Remy and Emile to be brighter than the other rats.
