  • A PLOW ON THE BACK OF THE TRUCK? WTF!

  • @Langtry613 back blades ftw

  • at first i thought you were a hotdogging kid but youre really good id hire guys like you any time ......great job nothing like experience but always be safe. take care

  • sweet truck man

  • your rig handles pretty good in the snow

  • what lightbar is that?

  • nice truck and plows!!! i put on the taliban song and it didt sound like it went god with the vid

  • Yeah, when you plow you get a beat down and you pop er in gear and go baby go. I'd been driving faster than this guy but he did a pretty good job. Kind of over kill for residential with the gigantic v-blade and gigantic back blade with folding wings. I'd take my 7.5 foot western straight blade in a residential area and smoke this dude. BUT, he does a real nice job. Keep it up dude!

  • All these people who are saying you are driving too fast probably don't plow, drive trucks, or even drive their cars all that well or confidently. After you get a feel for your truck you start getting a rhythm, which he has. So shut the hell up, and leave this guy alone. He's making a lot of money, good for him! Keep it up fella! Nice truck, for a chevy!

  • you know the warranty is on the truck right, soon as they find out what you have been using the truck for the warranty is void

  • how much for the set up on the back?

  • If You drove like that in my hood I'd stick that whole unit up your ass !!!!

  • @allpro2112 good luck white boy

  • #1 why do you guys have to bitch at this guys for what hes doin...leave him alone...who cares if he has the latest technology in plowing....#2you could slow down abit in the drive ways..

  • damn plow jockie.

  • this guy is an animal.....wouldnt let u drive my truck. If you knew how to plow you wouldnt need that tumor on the back of your truck

  • i have never seen that back blade

  • this guys bad ass, when it comes to plow driving

  • why do plows drive so fast when they plow?

  • @POWEREDBYDEESNUTS because like tow truck drivers, when they have their array of excessive yellow lights and strobes flashing, they are now that much closer to being a cop. Power trips all day.

  • @dhawzi09 and now I know some guy is gonna defend the excessive amount of lights and say, " its for safety dumbass how are people gonna see me duhhhhhh." Most of these clowns plow empty lots and have all these crazy lights on, its just uneccessary.

  • @dhawzi09 I would much rather spend the extra little money on strobes and be safe than sorry and have myself run into someone of vice versa. I can't tell you how many times it has happened, where you think you're alone, and then some 30 year old woman in her Lexus comes ripping around a corner and flicks you off because you're trying to stack snow and the roads are slick. It gives you that much more piece of mind to alert people as early as possible of you and your truck

  • @kayem25 (continued) To be honest though, I would prefer no strobes at all, especially at night. The constant reflection of strobes for 8-14 hours of plowing can get extremely annoying.

  • @kayem25 I turn mine off when in a lot alone.

  • @dhawzi09 OR the law dictates plow trucks tow trucks to have beacons, not that you would know anything about earning a living, tool.

  • @DanEdwardsMusic im not talking about one light bar on the hood, im talking about the guys with the light bar, the plug in window suction cup light, grille lights, strobes in healights and turn signals fog lights, side windows, etc etc...I actually do earn a very good living... tool. Im referring to a select few people not all plowers.

  • @POWEREDBYDEESNUTS because people like this think that they are cool if they plow fast kinda like hey look at me plowing like a fucking moron with all my stupid ass lights please do not assume that everyone that plows snow drives like this fucking retard thank you

  • finally a Silverado plowing (sick of seeing Super Duties)

  • Nice box blade im gona try that next winter

  • Yuo do know what you're doing and thats a great rig you got...

  • lol its like 3 inches

  • Great but no sound and music!

  • oh yea the basics because everyone has a v plow and backdragger

  • I wouldn't let you in one of my trucks driving like that !! I would be interested to know how long it was before you ripped the BACKDRAGGER of your truck?

  • lol..getting down in the snow plow

  • this is what happens when u hire someone to drive your truck, they beat the living shit out of it

  • A Tonka toy would look better than that plain looking grampa truck...lol..never seen someone so in love with a friggan plow b4!

  • hes got a real truck pushin that plow

  • sorry but no heavy chevy will ever be considered a real truck....at least not until their half shafts stop snapping and their frames stop buckling

  • your an idiot......take a look around you buttfuck.....they are everywhere. Maybe that will tell you something.

  • @lespaul12001 : Obama voters are everywhere too. That ought to tell you something. Many many people are STUPID people. MOST people once thought the Earth was flat.

  • they shouldve put that on a dodge or ford not a little tonka toy lol

  • back on the farm when my dad was kid, they use plow the road becuz for some reason the city wouldnt do it so im not sure if u need a permit or not, i think its just frowned upon

  • wow man what an ass, no need for tht much hostility on youtube

  • WOW!!!!!

  • Good setup for a demolition derby!

BTW, wow there alot of white sand

  • @Reverseflush

    that is snow

  • Is that a duramax diesel or gas engine?

  • Gas engine. Possibly 6.0L. Im pretty sure it isn't a duramax because there is no duramax name-plate above the 2500 label on the doors.

  • thats true probably is a gas.

  • ive been fined about 6 times plowing the snow across the street. the city is getting anal about that crap around here (ottawa canada), but when you get 400cm winters you run outta room, you try and hide it where you can ;)

  • do you like the boss or the western wide out better?

  • did you get permission to plow the road? cuz where i live you need a permit

  • :)nice

  • the rear plow is so u can get more snow with a single pass and u can get the snow that comes off the sides of the front plow also u can back up to something put the rear plow down and go

  • Whats the purpose of the rear plow? You cant get the snow up and out of the way. He just left it there

  • got a litlle bit of a woody watching this video

  • Hell ya! using a chevy to get the job done!!!

  • hey Select.... Wheres can I find that kind of plow?? I went to westerns site an there wideout doesnt have those white designs Does that mean the 2 plows are different or older / newer?

  • The front plow is sweet, but the back plow doesn't seem to plow much! I'm not sure it was worth doing the back one. Coll vid though

  • Now I gotta video myself plowing the property where I am maintenance supervisor. We have 432 apartments and I`m not sure how many acres of land, but it takes me 4 to 5 hours of plowing and then cleaning up parking areas in and around cars to get it done, and even at that, the next day there is still plenty more to do from all the cars that moved. Then there are the idiots that never move their car at all, even when they are watching you plow, they still will leave their car sitting there.

  • WOW, that must be tough controlling all those plows haha, thats tough driving and doing al that, but otherwise nice job!

  • u do it right damn good job

  • EXACTLY HOW IT SHOULD BE DONE.

Don't know you from Adam but I am willing to bet there is at least 10 years of plowing under your belt.

Correct truck and plows. Well done.

That's instinct, you can't teach that.

  • got that right

  • let me know when you need that 4L80E rebuilt ill cut u a deal

  • Now why in the hell would I need that????? The truck has a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty. The truck has 23,000 miles on her, alot more plowing to do.

  • @SelectService hey how the hell do you know what to charge when plowing snow between property size and snow fall?

  • @Doobisnacks18 haha ive had bad experiences with trannys

  • @Doobisnacks18 The 4L80E is a great transmission almost as good as the Allison, its build very well and I have 200k on mine and stuff going strong with no rebuilds.

  • curious, where did the sound and music go?

  • YouTube said I was in violation and pulled the music. I did not have permission from Toby Keith.

  • That sucks. Oh well, awesome video and excellent equipment. I've seen your 07 build on Plowsite. You do some great work.

  • that's dumb

  • That's some pretty fast driving in a residential area. Must be a pretty confident driver to zoom around like that without worrying about killing a child.

  • Kids are in bed @ 7am. And yes, I am VERY confident!

  • @SelectService really! 7 am you say huh. i'm nine and i get up at 5:30 - 6:15 AM, espacially when it snows

  • @TaterSalad24 you are such a bag of douche. Lay off. You need speed when you are plowing anyways... The comfortable "mom friendly" speed doesn't work when you are pushing hundreds of pounds of snow around.

  • Very SICK Driving!

  • ive never seen a plow on the back of a truck tht adjusts ...pretty cool

  • Sick setup! Those rear-mount wing plows sure are nice. I wish I had one for small residential driveways myself...back blading works but not as good. Do you do any small driveways? I find after I finish my lot work, it's just about the time people are out shoveling...can usually make an extra 30-50 bucks for about a half hour work :)

  • Thats what I call a nice neighbor.

  • Very nice set up!!! I have the same truck but extended cab lots of power!!!

  • Wow...awesome setup. Must be constant checking behind you so you don't back over a small child that wants to check it out, or a pet. I could see wanting a better look when I was a kid. Likely it's got backup beeper or something similar. A friend of mine ran her dog over couple month ago backing up....Not a pretty scene.

  • Damn nice setup you have. I wish my boss had that!

  • great truck and damm you make that look easy. I would prefere a chevy or gmc any day.

  • Thank You

  • thought so.

    thanks

  • is that a western V plow on the front or BOSS?

  • Western MVP Plus

  • thats cool

  • do you just plow roads and random driveways our are they your friends driveways

  • That is my personal private road that I live on, and a neighboring lot.

  • Does your rear set up...which by the way is awesome, run on a pto from your truck or is that a small engine I hear running your PTO? Don't worry...Chevys don't sound like lawnmower engines.

  • i like your set up on your truck

  • good snow plowing

  • Good vocabulary.

  • you do not no how to plow

  • OK???? And you do? Let me see.

  • and u do

  • u need a FORD behind that blade!!

  • Ford's can't handle it.

  • good vid thanks for sharing, i did have one question though, you said that " Ford's can't handle it." why is that is it prefference or you just dont like fords? my neighbor has a F350 hd dual wheels, he uses it as for 5th wheel for his big ass camper, i think its 37ft. wouldnt that be good for plowing or is that over kill?

  • ya they can

  • he's right, too much power from the ford for the blade

  • @PolariCat good thing its a chevy then

  • Whats the song called???

    Love it!

  • Taliban By Toby Kieth

  • were u live

  • Michigan

  • o when was this

  • Jan. 2007

  • Are you getting payed for this job,if you are I got a job for you

  • Just having fun showing all the joys of snow removal.

  • is there a pony motor in the bed of the truck to run the back blade? sure sounds like it. never the less you sure do bust out residentials quick with that rig

  • love the song

  • Thats an awesome rig, I just started snow plowing this year and by next year I plan to have a rig just like that.

  • i just want the truck

  • $69000.00 and it is yours.

  • now thats a snowplow guy i want!!

  • i like this country western song 2 it goes good with the video

  • It was something I threw together.

  • steel iz better but i just got a new 2500HD and i love it its really nice where suppost 2 get 14-16 inches tonight

  • Why is steel better? Good luck with all of that.

  • I was wondering the difference of poly or steel and which is better and is the mvp easy to control while plowing + great video

  • The rear Plow is a SwingWing.

The front Plow is a Western MVP Poly Plus.

  • Been dreaming of owning a set up like this for years. We gotten two feet of snow in the past 3 or 4 days with another foot in the forecast for tonight.

    Great Truck !

    Great Equipment !

    Professionally Handled !

Well done video, as well !!

I'll be geared up by next winter hopefully .

THe rear blade is made by Swingarm as I have read in comments.

Who manufactured the front plow ? It even looks like it means business !!!

  • That's a badass truck.

  • Thanks.

  • yea, love the truck! Nice!

  • Very professional and fast, I have seen back blades in other states, but I am about an hour south of the Michigan border and we really don't see more than a few inches per storm, probably only one or two 12 inch snows a year. GREAT back blade. nice video.

  • I don't get the concept of the back blade!

  • You never will.

  • Whats That Mean?? :(

  • Handy looking blade on the back. I've never seen one of those for snow. Is it a Western?

  • No, it's a SwingWing.

  • Why are you using your back blade on a road?

    Brett

    Manager of Kyle's Landscaping Inc.

  • I use my back blade anywhere I can be efficiant. I use the back blade more than the front. I also do several private roads that I plow. So, i do roads, lots, drives, and what ever else.

    Where is Klye's Landscaping located???

  • get a ford pickup chevy sucks

  • LOL! Thats funny. Chevys better!

Ford - Fixed or repaired daily

  • I chose something a little more reliable.

  • very nice and quick plowin!

  • Pretty cool, but absolutely useless.

  • As was your comment.

  • that white plow truck is so cool i like the rear plow i never seen that befor

  • sweetest thing ive ever seen

  • Awesome set up and sweet design, well done, I am sure we will see ALOT of these on the road in the near future

  • SWEET SWEEt

  • sweet where can u get those plows?

  • From me of course.

  • hahaha this is the best video i think i have evre seen haha besides the john deere 2305

  • Who sells the SwingWing, couldn't find it anywhere?

  • I do. Send me an email.

  • 2 words. Fuckn Sweet, Taliban Man.

  • it looked like you plowed a total of 3 inches?

  • At least I was plowing snow.

  • Awesome setup. What lightbar is on top? I like it

  • Sho-Me Strobe / LED Combo.

  • what is the size of plow,is 10ft but how you instaled on silverado

  • 8.5 Western MVP Poly Plus on the front.

16' SwingWing on the rear. Rear plow retracted width is just under 8.5.

  • what was he plowing?

  • he was plowing the grass. HERES YOUR SIGN

about i think 6 inches it looked liked

  • nice video and i see u picked a GMC for the plow truck VERY GOOD CHOUCE MAN anyother truck would not look so good or profor as good eather :)

  • HEY BUDDY ITS A CHEVY silverado, ALRIGHT!

  • Pretty neat video, I like your setup as well...I can imagine the controls are pretty confusing :S

  • Controls are no more difficult than the zipper on your pants.

  • what happens when rear dragger plow whacks a tree oh say maybe just once??????????

    junk it

  • Years of experience prevents you from doing that. It's not as complicated as it looks.

  • yes, it is Toby Keith. Toby rocks. nice plowing.

i like your setup. Taliban sucks. camel jockeys!

  • SOunds like Toby Keith singing

  • The rear plow is a SwingWing. It expands to 16' They are the plow of choice in my area. Thanks for the inquiry.

  • ummm...the taliban song in a plow video? What is with that dude?

  • What brand back plow is that?

  • The rear plow is a SwingWing. It expands to 16' They are the plow of choice in my area. Thanks for the inquiry.
