@johnny3734 yes, sort of. There are three kinds of chiptunes imho. One true ones like that can only be played by particular hardware such as 8-bit game consoles (C64, ATARI, NES, these are mostly called by the sound chips they use such as SID, or AY), or custom built electronics. the second and most popular is "tracker" music, that are not specific to a certain hardware, and can be played on any or most computers (this track is one of them), and the last type is FAKE chiptunes, etc.

I've been looking for a piece to present in my music appreciation class, something that can actually keep up with the symmetry and complexity of a fugue, and this little chip tune is currently my best potential offering. Repetition is only to keep everything within the main theme, and only once. The melodies are all distinct and thread very well together. The song just keeps going, pushing it til the very end. It's actually a brilliant piece of work.
