Great amp, great subs. If they're hooked up "together" to the same amp... BAD BAD BAD IDEA. Don't mix impedences. ie don't hook a 4 ohm and a 2 ohm up together to the same amp. NOT GOOD.

i have the same two subs, they are bolth in diffrent boxes but they are side by side i just got the 15" memphis....but i got the 15 runnin of a jl 1000/1 and the kicker on a 500/1
memphis is better tho theyve beat kicker and all other subs and amps for the last 7 years straight they have one best quality in sound and subs and amps
I was probably thinking that I got two subs and decided to see what would happen hooking them up together. It wasn't anything permanent and I wasn't bragging about them. If that makes me come off as dumb then you obviously have a boring life
the way ur subs are setup is probably creating destructive interference which means the different waves produced by the subs are hitting eachother and probably causing it to be not as loud as i should be.
when u have two subs in their own boxes they must be installed in a way that the sound waves will not interfere with each other..
I would sell the L7 and the amp. Pay to have someone professionally built single ported box for the mojo and buy a good amp and it will be twice as loud as this. IMO
Two different types of subs on one amp can damage the amp. I don't know if your amp is/was mono or two channel. I read somewhere that whichever sub has less resistance, more power will go to that channel and could blow it. Bah, but who cares...
@beaufortnigga bad set up but good equipment. fosgate amp and premier head unit gave me a chubby. would have went with JL for subs. jl or polk sig series for speakers. would save my money for a better car though but he's young anyways.

@zlibby76 well lol i just blew that M3. i had another one that i took out a while ago so i'm lucky that i didn't sale it. i had the gain on my PRD 1000.1 set at about %30 when it blew. i don't know what exactly made it blow because the M3 wasn't hitting that hard in my opinion. but just to be safe i turned the gain down to about %25, because i'm out of M3 replacements lol. the M3 peak is listed at 800 watts the RMS is 400 watts, so i would think anywhere in the middle is fine.
