  • this is actually really different from the original song, but I prefer this effect! A lot more spacious and with defined dynamics. Now I just need to find out how to make my Rhodes sound like a grand piano!

  • any chance youd do a full cover of the song with this effects setup i love it to death

  • which effect do you use for the ehx-intro?

    reverse delay?

  • @35rammstein

    Stereo memory Man with Hazarai

  • @Effectology yes thx, with the 1sec + reverse control

  • Yes I did. Its the first Effectology done.

EHX Effectology, Vol. 1: Electric Guitar plays Blues Harmonica

  • Have you ever tried to make a harmonica sound? I could imagine that it could be it's own pedal just like the Ravish Star.

  • on the pulsar what were the settings used that tremolo effect is hypnotic

  • @apollorocker

Under the video is a description section.

At the end of the description is a link for settings for this video.

  • Sounds freaking fantastic!

  • omg. this bill ruppert better have a solo album i can delve into...

  • shivers went up my spine at 1:04. Well Played!

  • Instead of the pulsar, how would a tremolo effect work out?

  • @WhynotMiha

Yes if the tremolo has a square wave option or a way to shape the wave into more of a choppy square wave sound.

  • how about a rhythm sounding rhodes is it possible to get it with this set up

  • are you using harmonics to help crate that bell sound? if so is it all 12 frets above?

  • @Mattytheman91

The ring modulator is adding the bell like sound.

Its all played in the position seen in the video.

    Bill

  • great :)

  • Wow Bill .... this stuff is pure genius! Especially the solo piece at the end ... if you're not touring .... you should be ....

  • fantastic bill

  • I really like the tone on the lead in the second part, it's that real proggy jazz fusion kinda stuff that I like. any guitar players want to play progressive jazz fusion rock?

  • @quizzledorf

    yes

  • good work, it's one of my favorite channel.

  • another great stuff. keep on recording!

  • Nice video/series.

That Ibanez Jem Is outstanding? Is it a standard 77FP?

  • Thanks

Yes the JEM is stock and dates 1988

  • oh man that was awesome!!!

  • I love it. I could be the "rhodes player" in any band with that setup. Great sound, very "rhodesy" too. Great playing too.

  • Amazing work! The effects are great but your playing is really the highlight of all these videos.

  • Absolutey brilliant.
