google have regular cars with spherical filming capabilities cameras such like ladybug2-3 cameras capturing stretched spherical images 30 frames/s. they get not just an image, they get spherical videos.

EXCELLENT BUT YOU HAVEN'T SEEN NOTHIN' YET because it is only a matter of time when Google will allow you to put in you START and END points and play it back just like a video. Not only that but you will be able to pan, tilt and zoom all around because all the data is there already, all this while the motion video is playing. Imagine this very video you are watching but panning tilting and zooming while you are going along with the ride.

How does an end-user stand with copyright of Google Maps, Satellite images and Streetview photos if they want to use them in a mashup of their own, such as a video on YouTube? I've always assumed "we" (the average end-user) can't do it due to copyright reasons, but this video would sort of suggest otherwise? If we credit Google and have a logo on screen does that make it ok? is there any way to be allowed to use content such as the maps/satellite/streetview in our own videos?
