  • I'm trying to get my Connectiv to be read on Garageband so I can record my mixes. However when the Input, in garageband, is set to M-audio connectiv, I only hear a humming sound... Help?

  • @carpino15 do you have both the USB and power cord plugged into your conectiv?

  • My Torq won't work I use cdl tables. But what I'm guessing I did wrong was on the Torq control I ran RCA out A and B to my mixer. But u only used 1 RCA out to your monitor.

  • @Sal5pointo....thanks I was able to do it

  • *************UPDATE..... I have given up on Torq... if you are debating on whether or not to purchase Torq... I recommend going with a more stable system. Torq has too many glitches and will freeze during the big show.

  • and what do you connect the Xponent to? if the connectiv is connected to the computer??

  • and what do you connect the Xponent to? if the connectiv is connected to the computer?

  • @DjayAleks you have to have a mixer that has a midi connection

  • @sal5pointo well mine doesnt...and the dude at the store said I could do this...this blows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @DjayAleks you can use it!! it just won't move the dials on your computer screen

  • @sal5pointo oh well thats no biggie! Can you possibly give me mapping of what to connect to and where?

  • Hey sweet video, just what I've been looking for! Can I also use my old mixer along with the Xponent, cause my cables for my speakers are XLR's, and the Xponent does have not XLR's.?

  • @DjayAleks yes, you can still use your old mixer... I used a djm-800 worked great

  • My Xponent headphone jack broke long story short it fell on the jack input. I have no warranty so i was wondering if i get the M-Audio Conectiv can i connect the Xponent to the Conectiv so i can cue

  • @FMFMULISHA08 I don't know... should be possible

  • Comment removed

  • Do i need conectiv for my xponent dj m audio to use it im realy confused about this and i need to know what kina of cables i need for my master booth and booth

  • @runepking56 no, you do not need both... just xponent

  • so with headphones plugged into the connective does the cue and mix knob and headphone volume knob still apply with the headphones in the connectiv?thanks

  • thanks!

  • I was wondering the same thing as damianplur.

Now maybe something is wrong with the conectiv or maybe im just dumb. I follwed the instructions on this vid, but when I push play in torq nothing happens. No music nothing. Any suggestions?

  • same thing with me i have no music out my speakers i have to listen threw my head phones i woder do i need monitors for it

  • hey dude.. thanx for the video.. it helps me a lot... but i have one question... how will i go back to the original or default preferenses?... thanx... =)

  • on the video for conectiv and xponent how to demonstration set up, what happends when you have your turntables playing and move the jo wheel on the exponnent will it mess evrythin up or will it not effect your mix.

and also due u have good volume when pluged into the conectiv.

  • the one thing that i don't like about this setup is that you can't rewire connective into abletone live. ableton live has much better 3 band Eq than torq, so i have to use xponent only in order to have a rewire mod

  • OK, this video resolves many doubts. You DO need an additional Audio Interface (namely Torq Connectiv) in order to use the Xponent as the mixer for a pair of REAL turntable(since it has no audio inputs). Now here comes a major question: "What if I would like to use REAL VINYLS in a same "session", without having to reboot or disconnect/connect to many cables? I can think of several solutions but I would like the opinion of an owner. There are still many of us around with a lot of wax records...

  • so u can hook up the xponent to connectiv and to turntables. and just use the xponent as the mixer?

  • hey man so i just want to know, do u use one usb from your m-audio connectiv to ur computer? or do you connect both usb's from your connectiv and your torq xponent to ur computer?

  • awesome video im doing that same setup and your video helps a lot on explaining how to setup xponent and conectiv together specially on the preference. Many thanks

  • thanks for that sal5pointo, some times it makes it that little bit easyer to see someone actually do it!!! cheers!
