Fico muito surprendido em ler que tem pessoas que nao sabem reconhecer o talento deste eximio mestre e tocador de berimbau, raramente eu ouvi tocadores deste nivel... mas gosto e' igual a nariz... O que me desgosta e' ver pessoas faltando de respeito pra esta lenda viva da capoeira bahiana... mas quem nao tem olho pra reconhecer um valor com certeza nunca vai chegar nem perto daquele valor... Nada de mais,da pra ve que voce aprendeu a base, mas de criatividade nao tem nada.

De qualquer modo eu conheço e respeito muito o Mestre Jelon e sei que ele custuma ensinar o respeito pelos capoeirstas e mestres de capoeira e em principal os da mesma area.

Talves voce esteja aprendendo bem a tocar o berimbau mas è so isso a capoeira?

No final è verdade que sao os alunos a criarem intrigas e desentendimento entre os grupos.

Eu treino capoeira a 16 anos e me envergonho muito de ver mestres conceituados colocando videos ou autorizando colocarem toques totalmente errado sem fundamento, esse é o meu pensamento e vou explicar, a maioria dos alunos hoje em dia tem acesso a internet e aqui eles procram se aperfeiçoarem, imagina se ele se espelha nesse nesses toque do mestre nô e de muitos que tocam errado onde irá chegar nossa Capoeira ? o ciclo que dára isso quem aprende errado ensina errado !!!

Mestre No is a great great person. He has given many children in Brazil (and all over the world) opportunities by giving them a role model and teaching them Capoeira. Many kids would either be in prison, taking drugs or dead if it wasn't for him.

Great fun watching this...the berimbau is a wonderful instrument, it has a great potential for improvisation at different levels of play, watching the masters play traditionally is so important to learning and unlocking your own abilities...

I think all mestres deserve respects, ather mestres maybe more than other, because a mestre not only has to know how to play the berimbau or making so great acrobacy they need to have a great heart, to be humble, and to teach from inside, because i know mestres than say beat the other finish him, bla bla, they are not mestres, because capoeira is not playing against the other is playing with the other. my respts to mestre nô and to barrão too.

I am not commenting on Barrao's ability to play because I have never seen it. That is just it I was saying I have seen representations of him in UFC but not doing capoeira. If there are any here please give a link.

Mestre Barrao is a little kid compared to Mestre No... dont even come at me with that BS. Barrao is probably the only Mestre you ever met. Look up Mestre No and if you know what it means to be great, you'll know what I am talking about.
