Most likely the White Scars and Raven Guard will stand with them. Perhaps the Salamanders to. And if the parent chapters stand with them then the off shoots also. So the Blood Ravens, Storm Ravens and my own chapter, the Wolf's Dragoons stand with them aswell.

The new Chapter master Vulcan from GW does the chapter some justice he allows you to treat all flame based weapons as though they were twin linked. I just think they should be able to get certain traits at lower points cost and some new firebased weapons or run more flame weapons. I just want more background on them, they are freaking sweet and deserve to be as popular as Blood Angles, Space Wolfs and Black Templar (at least were).

Shamefully to admit, the Imperium is not as innocent as anyone thinks, even the emperor was quite zealous in his cause. The only 'innocent' men and women of the imperium are of the Imperial Guard, who only fight to survive, but usually get executed by their own superiors in the process. The IG are viewed as expendables - What good leader does that? In 40k, my honest opinion, is that I hope Chaos wipes out the Imperium. Chaos may be bad guys, but at least they're true to it and not blinded.

I don't think the Imperium is evil. Brutal and callous, yes, but their cause is the protection of humanity from all manner of threats, many too hideous for the average imperial citizen to even comprehend. A lot of Earth nations have shown brutality towards ethnic and religious groups, even their own people, but can it be said for example that China is an evil nation? I don't think so.

The Imperium may not serve it's people, but it does try to protect them. As for Chaos....

Having a few fearless superhumans slice through the enemy can drastically cut down on time and casualties, not to mention turn the tide of battle and snatch victory from the jaws of imminent defeat. The SM are vital to the survival of the Imperium as are the IG and the IN and the PDF and whoever, because some of these battles are so close, removing any one element can potentially change the outcome.

I really do hope you realize that the Inquisition of hte Imperium and the High lords of terra are corrupt, right? :P They already have a cure for the Emperor, but they fear if they bring him back that they will be punished.
