Each of us will have in our mind things that we read, or things that we've encountered, that will remain "like polished stones...". How true that is. It's the things that we describe as, "there's something I'll never forget...". One thing I'll never forget, is when I read about a young George Washington pulling a guy out of a half frozen river with the use of only one arm, and then throwing him to shore. It changed the way I saw Washington forever; a vibrant young powerful man.
