Miscalculations happen all the time. It looks as if he got a little nervous, didn't go fast enough, and let off the gas a tad early comming off the jump. Math or no math, mistakes happen. And with what speedometer would you calculate speed into this equation? Most jumps are eyed up, and judged my gear and RPM. Luckily he was alright. Nice wreck!

Quads dont nose dip by nature.. And no it was not a front flip attempt =[.. Sorry but you cant win that argument... What happened was he stopped accelerating before he went off the ramp when you do that you go nose over... Next time if you have to go kind of slow up to the ramp and then goose it right at the last second and stay on it till you are airborne a little, then right before you land goose it again to make landing alot smoother.
